u want to meet lorries and bus for what? The lorries and buses at NSH, when we overtake them, the windflow from their front may shake/ push ur car to one side especially those bus speeding at 120kmh. Ever exp that a bus stayed at 1st lane overtaking a lorry n I was behind the bus with the speed of 120kmh, my 15" v1 shake left right like nobody biz! Dam scary!

Cold n hot condition may give a different of 30-40kpa. I pumped to 230kpa in not cold not hot condition (short distance from home to petrol kiosk) now feel better driving but got no chance to meet those lorries n buses at the moment.

Bro aaur4man, mind to share with 195/60/15, what is ur tyre pressure? Previously on 17" 205/45/17 FC as poor as 7.5km/l now change to 15" same profile with hrs FC average 10km/l. Just that due to thick side wall, I can feel my car is not that stable/shaking left right when overtake bus n lorry or uneven road condition. My tyre pressure is 220 or 32psi. Is it normal?

Hi, r u referring to the Sony DVD player MEX-R1 given by C&C? If yes, the 3.5mm head jack can only work when the CD changer is not connected and it has to be connected to the AUX input behind the head unit. . If changer is connected, the AUX will not appear. This is what the sales lady told me when I bought my V1 cerato in 2006.

Recently change back from 17" to 15", my v1 HB auto improve in FC, about 10km/litre. There are many things u need to take note when u want to monitor the FC, - AT or MT: manual usually give another 1-2km/litre (which is quite a lot) - how u pump ur petrol: when nozzle auto stop, it mean u can squeeze another 5-10litre of petrol into ur tank (different petrol kiosk got different nozzle) - what kind of traffic u drive: %urban %city - mods will improve FC: light foot, lighter car (remove unnecessaries), regular maintenance n servicing, - mods will worsen FC: heavy foot, big wide heavy rim, TC: improve in performance but drink more petrol. I personally found that maintenance n servicing is very importance when comes to FC concern, just like before I change my petrol filter n AT fluid, my old petrol filter is dam dirty which ultimately will cause ur engine to breakdown.

My milage is 69k now, using 5w30 at the moment. Next servicing might stick to 5w30 since manual stated this is one of the spec of EO.

Hi all, I am driving a V1 1.6m HB and I hit 100km and above, i found out that my cabin is very noisy (engine noise). It is about 2900rpm. When i hit about 3400rpm, the cabin is very noisy at the range of unacceptable in the cabin by the engine. Is it normal? If it is so, is there any solutions? ;D Hi TS,did u mean the noise only come when 2900rpm at speed of 100kmh How about 1st gear when ur rpm reach 2900rpm or above? Did the noise happen also? Another suspicious is ur tyre might create the loud noise when hitting 100kmh above? Else, ur trans box 4th gear (auto) or 5th gear (MT) might need to take a look liao. Just my wild guess.

Suspect the hose disconnected since front n rear both don't spray.

Heng suay thing la. May b he pumped @ those petrol kiosk with rusty tank or the tank got water leak in... Sometimes also because the petrol kiosk owner add cheaper "additive" into their petrol reservoir to earn more. Like my own exp, my car CEL blinking which may also cause breakdown soon or later, after change fuel filter, the car back to normal liao. Which mean no matter how clean or dirty the petrol is, fuel filter need to change according to the maintainance schedule.

i agree with dillatimer. i am using stock pads with Blue ATE Brake fluid. works like magic. in fact the caliper's so big i got problem in choice of 15" rims. wheels do contribute. Bro, what is that blue ATE brake fluid? Where to get and what is the damage? My stock brake can't stop really well when emergency especially full load. Stock brake pad still left some though.

West area I quoted before front pair should be 50-60 (remove rim, brake kit n whole suspension kit then change the top mounting). Jb should be cheaper RM60 for front at sun hup if I remember correctly.
Don't forget that u also need to do wheel alignment after installlation.

It's around 90 for stock vs 120 for KYB (per pc price w/o gst) for front. Rear never check that time as my front got sound so Bo Bian got to change.

Before I start my ICE setup, stock tweeter near the latch didn't give enough sound range n if u volume up, it sound harsh to listen (my own ear experience hehe!) I bought a component set from sgsoundsystem (used set) n go jb install, cost of installation ard rm100 with dunno how many meters of speaker cable from the acc shop (2 pairs from rear trunk to dashboard). Stock mid speaker is removed n latch tweeter is not using now. Now pretty enjoy the music n vocal as the tweeter produce clear n warm vocal! If u like music listening n vocal, it's good to place ur tweeter on dash board which is close to ur ear level. Of coz if u have more budget, get a pair of alu tweeter pod to mount on ur A pillar which is direct horizontal to ur ear level. Personally never try but satisfy with current setup so won't go deeper poison at the moment!

Dear Members, Thanks for blessing me with aload of good advice. I will probably keep my ride ttill it expires in 3 years time. I feel a little sentimental about her. She has and is still serving me well. She has always been there for me. I will let her go when her time is up. Thanks you all for sharing such good advice. May you all have a great week !!!!

If u really make up ur mind to change, u can always fetch slidely higher than what trade in can give via sell it by ur own. if u r talking about jazz, I don't think the monthly installment is cheap although the efficiency is good.
