Recently change back from 17" to 15", my v1 HB auto improve in FC, about 10km/litre. There are many things u need to take note when u want to monitor the FC, - AT or MT: manual usually give another 1-2km/litre (which is quite a lot) - how u pump ur petrol: when nozzle auto stop, it mean u can squeeze another 5-10litre of petrol into ur tank (different petrol kiosk got different nozzle) - what kind of traffic u drive: %urban %city - mods will improve FC: light foot, lighter car (remove unnecessaries), regular maintenance n servicing, - mods will worsen FC: heavy foot, big wide heavy rim, TC: improve in performance but drink more petrol. I personally found that maintenance n servicing is very importance when comes to FC concern, just like before I change my petrol filter n AT fluid, my old petrol filter is dam dirty which ultimately will cause ur engine to breakdown.

I used to get about 550-600km on my Variant 2 1.6Auto when I travelled highway often but these days I get around 450 to 480km only. Whether you travel by mostly highway or normal street driving is important. But yes, the smaller the sports rims and tyres, the better the FC. M FC dropped when I "upgraded" from R15 185mm to R16 205 mm tyres. This was what I could achieve previously when mostly on highway! (Today the same part of the fuel indicator only clock 300-320km! )

My 05 HB about 420km per full tank.
Running on 205/55R16 tyres, Hurricane Filter, Brisk Plugs, Voltage Amplifier though.
Not sure if all these decreases the FC as supposedly, increases power and response, less fuel needed. Ppl say hurricane makes the car more thirsty though.

My car goes about an average 11.6km/l and I am on 205/55R16.
Mine is 07' Cerato HB Manual. The best I've clocked is about 12.6km/l.
