Workshop is good...very speedy in replacing the clutch. I was quoted $150 just for labour as reused my gearoil (changed less than 2wks). Location is at sin ming industrial estate which is abit out of the way for me as I stay in the west.

Hi I intent to change my tyres soon. Any recommended brand? I hope to change to those quiet one. Is it change from 215/45 to 215/55 would be better? Hi, 215/45/17 is usually a standard spec for most 17 inch tyres. If u change to 215/55/17, there might be a slight inaccuracy in ur speedo reading cause overall the tyre is bigger. The tyre profile will affect ur handling. 'wet' tyres usually not quiet. So check the type of tyres before getting.

Agreed with bro LMF...recently my ride also like that but i'm on manual. When idling, my engine will knock intermittenly and when moving off at low rpms it will hesitate. But i dun have problems during cold start or warm start. After changing plugs problem gone. My old plugs also abt the same mileage as urs and they were brisk silver. Now on denso iridium.

The only "surge" is when the rectifier fails to rectify and regulate the AC to the proper DC voltage, thus overchargeing the battery. Downstream of the battery, voltage surge cannot happen. Current surge downstream is more a short-circuit, demanding more current than is required by the failed equipment, and the inline fuse protects that phenomena. The VS connects across battery terminals or inline between rectifier and battery? Curious to know myself ... Electrical current surge can also damage battery and electronic devices over the long run. VS can minimise these surges. I'm not an expert in studies in electronics...end of the day is whether if u believe in the product or not...even if u give expert statistics or figures will not deter layman from buying the product. One can be lucky with or without believing in the product or not...when it comes to a failure...one can only blame himself for believing/not believing in the product. It's all out on the market...nobody can force one into buying the product or not. I'm not a salesman for promoting the product...just giving my experience on the use of it. End of the day, its ur investment!

Eh bro how many point grounding is good??? I dunno how to define how many points then will be good...mine is 9 point grounding. Most important points are engine block, alternator, throttle body, gear box. As long as the parts which requires electricity are covered.

Hi, first of all u must really know the real purpose of having a voltage stabilizer. Many VS out there claims that installing one will improve engine response...the actual fact is...when the VS is installed with the grounding cables, the electricity is more evenly distributed to the whole engine conpartment thus, better engine response due to more efficient distribution of electricity to the spark plugs. You wont really see this effect if ur ride is relatively new.
I have a Pivot Mega Raizin installed in my ride. Initially I really didnt feel the difference and felt cheated at first. But when it comes to checking the battery health, my stock battery lasted me for 2yrs and it was still left with 35% service life when I replaced it. So I personally feel that having a decent VS does prolong battery life and prevents premature failure. Before getting a VS, please check for genuinity!

How long is the process to do FDL? I'm currently on decat & straight thru exhaust with 2.1 inch mid pipe. In the event that I swap back my stock exhaust for inspection, will there be any side effects?

I hope my sharing contributes. When the car temperature is still "cold", i drove off and seldom revv the engine. Usually when on normal operating temperature, I change to Gear 2 when my rpm reads 2k rpm but when it's cold, the car jerk. Did you try to rev a little more like till 2500 rpm and change to gear 2? If I rev higher from gear 1 and change to gear 2 no problem. It will only happen when I use a 'underpowered' gear for low speeds then it will jerk when I tap on the accelerator. After replacing my plugs the problem is gone. So conclusion is that my plugs are worn out (just nice 30K as stated on Brisk's website for the silver racing specs)

Hi Joey, my manual 3yr old V2 mileage about 51K had been experiencing 'stuttering' pickups on 2nd gear at low revs eg. 1K with light taps on the accelerator. This happens when my ride has reached the normal engine operating temperature. I'm on ron 97 petrol and no problems with gear 1. My ride can rev till red line without any problem so i dun suspect the spark plugs. What can be the other factors? My suspicion - 1. Ignition System, 2. Automatic Transmission, 3. Fuel Delivery too lean. Either 1 or more possibilities. Probabilities in that order. Hi Joey, I replaced the spark plugs and the problem is gone. Thanks for ur expert opinions.

I dun have any issues during crank start or reving up to redline. 2. I'm on manual transmission. On exedy sports clutch used for about 30K mileage. Any possibilities? 3. I done my QF and did not alter any mapping since.

Brisk silver racing plugs need regular check on the condition. My first set, 1 plug broke into 2, jerking when cruising like powere cut off..... come to a stage where CEL light up and engine vibrate... 2nd set... 'dirty' plugs just usage for a few months, I drive but short distance mostly.... 3rd set, just check, looking good but will be going to other brand of plugs or stock ones as it is much cheaper and dun run risk of unexpected problems... btw not just me alone experience this, they are well known by users that brisk have QC issue.... Hmm..my set of plugs have served me will for the past 30K mileage...but nevertheless I'll keep this point in mind when I visit my workshop. Thanks.
