Hi guys, my manual 3yr old V2 mileage about 51K had been experiencing 'stuttering' pickups on 2nd gear at low revs eg. 1K with light taps on the accelerator. This happens when my ride has reached the normal engine operating temperature. I'm on ron 97 petrol and no problems with gear 1. My ride can rev till red line without any problem so i dun suspect the spark plugs. I also periodically used redline's fuel system treatment. I'm on sports clutch and us3d for about 30K mileage. What can be the other factors?

Try this, drive normally to get to 3rd gear and cruise. RPM should be lowish 1K+ ..see if its a engine speed sensor related problem. Other thoughts: 1. did u just change plugs or plug wire? 2. Fuel filter / pump
Incompatible plugs, I encountered before in my old Fiat and gave same symptoms u described. As is insufficient grounding in my V1 (also my bike), cause delay cranking when hot, so I ran a cable from block to battery. ..

My plugs are brisk silver used for about 30K. I have 9 points grounding with pivot's mega raizin. Fuel filter changed at 40K servicing. Only happens during low speed with higher gear pick up...

Brisk silver racing plugs need regular check on the condition.
My first set, 1 plug broke into 2, jerking when cruising like powere cut off..... come to a stage where CEL light up and engine vibrate...
2nd set... 'dirty' plugs just usage for a few months, I drive but short distance mostly....
3rd set, just check, looking good but will be going to other brand of plugs or stock ones as it is much cheaper and dun run risk of unexpected problems...
btw not just me alone experience this, they are well known by users that brisk have QC issue....

I hope my sharing contributes.
When the car temperature is still "cold", i drove off and seldom revv the engine. Usually when on normal operating temperature, I change to Gear 2 when my rpm reads 2k rpm but when it's cold, the car jerk. Did you try to rev a little more like till 2500 rpm and change to gear 2?

If I rev higher from gear 1 and change to gear 2 no problem. It will only happen when I use a 'underpowered' gear for low speeds then it will jerk when I tap on the accelerator. After replacing my plugs the problem is gone. So conclusion is that my plugs are worn out (just nice 30K as stated on Brisk's website for the silver racing specs)
