I'm abit different coz my FC slightly increased.. Find it hard to believe but as long as you keep to your old driving style, it works.. The only time when I step hard on the accelerator is when I need to overtake.. And believe me, for pica, you will find that overtaking at 80km/hr to 90km/hr range is easier compared to before.. However, there's a drawback.. I feel that acceleration at lower rpm drops.. So I always try to keep my rpm above 2.2rpm.. But this is expected as open pods tend to give you high end power, but reduce your low end power.. My previous FC is fluctating between 12 to 14km/ltr.. Now i get a stable FC of close to 14km/ltr.. I'm able to clock 200km in the first quarter tank, and 300km for half tank.. Previously, 1/4 tank is 150 to 180km, while 1/2 mark is 250km.. Not a very big increase, but to maintain your FC with an open pod is a bonus in additional to the increase in power.. it seems that ur fuel gauge potentiometer is different from mine. for my previous tank these are the readings: - first 1/4 gauge = 125km - 1/2 tank gauge = 220km - 3/4 gauge = 295km - before reserve light is up, i pumped 25.2litres with reading of 337km my fc is about 13.3km/l after the calculations my fc is slightly higher than urs but i can nv clock 300km for half tank... does ur gauge drops very quickly after the half tank range? and what's the mileage when reserve light is up? ur fuel gauge abit off... when the reserve light up, it should be ard 5-8 litre of fuel left. ur tank still have 10lite to spare! omg!

Hmm.. Not really off lah.. Coz if the fuel gauge is off, then I should constantly get 300km in the 1/2 mark.. However, I don't always get that.. Sometimes i get 280km.. For the previous pump, I managed to clock 14+km/ltr.. That's the highest FC I get until now.. But I guess that's by luck or something, coz usually I get 13+km/ltr.. But somehow, the figures say so..
From the lower 1/2 tank, my gauge usually drops quickly as I tended to be more heavy footed.. Reason is I feel that I've clocked enough for the half tank.. Just enjoy the lower half..
For the fuel gauge, have to monitor for more time.. But 1 thing I can conclude is that installing the open pod does not really affect my FC..

That's why it always dropped faster compared to the upper half even though we apply the same amount of acceleration.

That's why it always dropped faster compared to the upper half even though we apply the same amount of acceleration. i think all cars are the same. my col's 2.4 camry has the same characteristic. it is derived from its built-in fc monitoring device, which calculates the estimated mileage that can be covered with the remaining amount petrol. if this is the case, the fuel gauge should be calculated to be evenly distributed throughout its indication, to have a more accurate display. but seems that its good for singaporeans going to m'sia for petrol, as the 1st quarter holds the most amount of petrol. (min. 3/4 tank to go m'sia)

Bro devilcup, My pica is having almost the same symptom as yours. sometimes when i release my accelerator when i'm at 60-70km/h, by right it would move till quite a distance. But it decelerate as if i step on my brakes. When i really step a bit on my brakes it feels like i slam on my brakes. Sometimes it feels ok. May i know where you change your brake pump? how much does it cost? Thanks.

i believe joey is a nice guy and wont do that to u. long term sales and businesses do come from TCSS, that's where we feel the friendliness. btw, were u the guy driving the white pre f/l vios with Harmony Motor stickers? i remembered chatting with someone about maintaining open pod air filter during my last visit. (end of last yr) any new performance setup from harmony lately? i was waiting for one from joey but i think he's been too busy.

We should be launching hardware packages and tune packages soon, just need to finalize some stuff =)
Seems like your car has already quite a nice mod list... hehe poisonous indeed!!

Good Friday's next month i'm interested in the setup that enhances open pod air intake. maybe it can allow more back pressure when air flow is lower. so far after using open pod for a few months, i do notice some lag in the low end, but the high end is irresistible. my fc was not much affected, in fact, improved, from 11.2 - 12.5 to 12.5 - 13.5 km/l with some "slightly" harder accelerations on and off. (50% highway, 50% urban) maybe the car becomes more seasoned over time. but for a picanto, we still can't deny the fact that it is badly dragged by the air con compressor. for cars like subaru R1/R2, perodua 1.0L cars, hyundai getz 1.1M, or even suzuki lapin, they should have the same problem as picanto. (660cc cars should be even worst?)
