Hi spinnerbix27, u may need to provide more details of your current ride, cos most latest cars today don't equip with distributor cap and rotor nowadays.

Hi zackdeth, If you are looking at better Fuel Count go for 14inch rims, for better and stable road holding go for 15 inch rims but FC will suffer abit. U said your bonnet crack, if I am right are you on aftermarket fiberglass bonnet ? Try call up Alex from Vim Auto in defu lane to check if he can repair for you. Gresini is right our bonnet won't crack cos original stock made of steel.

ShiDi
Did you check your sound systems ? or alternator charging rate is the reading same as your volt meter ? My car voltage always at 14.3V to 15V with full load even on idling.

ShiDi & Vision,
For Voltage that drop and hovering around 12.6V +/- with Air-condition, all lighting and you Sound system on is normal during idling. Once you start to move off you will notice it went up again.

All engine wears and tears condition not the same even on same engine model, so as long your coolant temperature stay within the recommended spec is ok, But as an owner of the car basic checking of coolant and engine oil level is a must know thingy. Don't wait till 1 day get stuck at the road side with overheating problem then Cry for help. Bro Koch can tell you how it feel because he know it Best.

Hi Bro & Sis,
Has any of you look into your picanto normal operating temerature before ?
Here's my testing and result.
During cold start coolant temperature will start from 40"C, thermostat will start to open at 84"C, Radiator fan Stage 1 will operate at 99"C and stop at 92"C for Stage 2 Radiator fan wil operate at 102"C and stop at 92"C if your stage 1 fan fail to operate.
If Air-condition is switch on it will bring your temperature down to 84"C when Idling.
