Can i check.how much air pump is required for 14"? I read from manual is required 220. Normally i pump like 230 which i think is ok.
Is 220 apply to all model of 14" tyres? Or some model can take in higher.pressure?
I just changed to Yokohama, uncle say can pump about 240 to 250. Isn't it too high?

An overinflated tire is stiff and the contact with the road is reduced. Moreover, I feel picanto will be more bumpy too.

165 @ 28psi, 175 @ 30psi, 185 @ 32psi, 195 @ 34psi? which grip better, last longer, feels better? All up to individual, if unsure, 32psi all wheels safest.

Hello to all, My Picanto is an August 2006 model. Tire is 165/60/R14 and its okay to pump 220 kpa. Will change to 155/70/R13. This is because my steering feels heavy while reversing to car park lot, my speedometer does not show the P,N,D light up, is this normal? While cruising at 80 kmp, the rpm is at 2000, should it not be at about 1800rpm. Thanks in advance for any advise. Edwin

My 0.5cts. Does anyone tried to jam on the brakes to test just in case of emergency and see after effect?

No need test E brake. Pump 215 - 220kpa is safe.
I would advise everyone to drive a safe distance and not aggressive driving/speeding.
SG too many cars and traffic light.

Edwin R14 with 220 is fine. i pump 230 also. pdn lighting is on at my gearbox instead of dashboard for me. 80kmis 2rpm liao easily.

Thank you for sharing! I guess all Picantos P,D,N indicator are at gearbox and not on the dashboard. BTW, steering when driving off is slightly heavy as default?

Read the markings on the tyre.. if its max 300 when cold.. 220 -230 is good.
If its 350 max then you can def pump more.. I did that for my R15 rims when driving my older March..
