R.I.S.K. - Rapid Induction System Kit
*** UPDATED NEWS *** We r OPEN to orders for Kia Picanto, Kia Rio, Kia Cerato V1 & V2, Kia Cerato Forte, Kia Koup, Kia Optima K5, Hyundai Avante, Hyundai Getz, Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Tuscani, Hyundai Verna, Mitsubishi Lancer aka CS3, Lancer EX, Toyota Wish, Honda Stream, Honda Fit, Honda Accord and Suzuki Swift. [/color][/b]
* Unleash the power. * Responsive and Powerful pickup. * Reduces lag during gear shift. (Eg. Auto transmission vehicle when moving off and when going up slope.) * Enhanced overtaking power. * Highly recommendable for local Sg driving. * LTA Compliant. * Maximize your driving experience.
R.I.S.K. - A combination of working principles
*Unique air scoop Sucking warm air in from the engine bay is a great way to lose power. Getting enough fresh, cold air into the cylinders is a challenge on normally aspirated cars. The unique air scoop concentrates and pushes the air into the filter. It forms a key part of the RISK system.
*Cold Air Intake System Air is being drawn directly from outside the engine bay. Many CAI systems make use of the cold air principle to improve the air intake quality. Cold air carries more oxygen molecule. (for NA rides)
*Air Induction System The air is then 'charged' into the filter via a direct route. Bends are avoided to minimise frictional losses and to ensure smooth flow of air into the filter thus allowing a greater mass flow through the cylinder intake valve and hence increasing engine power.
*Unique Cone Filter Specially designed cone filter creates an environment that causes air to be charged. Together with the air scoop, it forms the basis which is the present RISK system.
*Made to 'Sprint' RISK is not meant for racing. It will not make your vehicle clear the speedometer. Rather, it is designed to improve acceleration from point to point and is focused on low and mid range. With this improvement, driving experience and overtaking ability is enhanced. Best for daily local sg driving.
*Extensive R&D Many hours of R&D has been spent on the design of RISK system to achieve what it is meant to. Dyno proven to allow an AT pica to overcome transmission losses to be on par with a MT pica in terms of maximum power output.
Disclaimer :- RISK improves your low, mid and high-mid range. Power at every gear and when it is needed. Best for local daily driving. RISK is not meant for racing, it will not make your ride clear the speedometer. Many tests and R&D have been done on RISK. Do not tamper or make any modification to the system, as it will affect the performance.
Safety advice...control your right foot and service your brake after installing R.I.S.K.

Let start from the day when my car was still Stock. Pick-up from stand still from 0 to 100KM can only reach at 5th gear and full tank of petrol (Ron 95) can only reach 360KM, after using Atom Power and DIY a little mod by block to sonator inlet full tank of petrol (Ron 95) can reach 410KM, but 0 to 100km still not much improvement, going up slope in 3rd gear can only reach 40KM. Today after install the 1/2 Air Induction System, pick-up is very much smoother and power has increase a lots as for fuel count still monitoring. Today I can get back the feel which I miss for long times ago when I was testing on Turbo Charge Car (Lotus) But do keep in mind Safety always come first because you are not the only road user. Finally, wish all bro's and Sis's enjoy your ride.

Just installed risk last night. I can feel much better response at each gear, especially 2nd n 3rd. Usually at highway when traffic slows down n then clear up, i will experience lag n power comes much later. This mod improves this lag. If u floor acc, u will hear the engine roar n power comes faster than before which helps u overtake more confidently. Overall it gives me more pleasure in driving now. Thumbs up for this mod.

Harmony Motor Bro Joey comment... Wah, this RISK excites me leh. It seems that the 'inventor' is doing the right thing after all. It's like the WRC cars that have scoop to draw air from outside the car and directed at the air filter or directly into the engine. This type of air is cooler and thus contains more oxygen molecules and thus gives better power output. The ECU will automatically assess the amount of O2 and adjust the amount of fuel to be injected via the feedback from the O2 sensor. So I think this is a dream setup. I must go and see on Friday night. Roy - protect the patent and reserve for me to buy from you hor! Cheers! sgkiaclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Picantogeneralchat&action=display&thread=17903&page=35
