In another incidence, while slowing down to a complete stop when waiting for the barrier to lift-up b4 entering the carpark. BTW, what's yr charges on the cleaning?

80,90 bucks i guess? using it, so far so good, hassle is need to clean with the cleaning kit and cant oil too much after cleaning the filter. uncle, take this as yearly maintenance affair lor, not so much as "hassle" lah, otherwise changing EO is oso classified as hassle liao.

Bro, any improvements to the engine's performance? u need to be realistc. just by putting KNN filter and u wan performance? EErrr......not so straight forward lah. for real performance, please seek advices from bro Nakata6. His set-up is meant for real performance, not those wishy washy type that make alot of noises and car still can't go.

hi bro, I supposed u got the answer 4 yrself eventually. FYI, the designer don't just design the air-box for fun. it's meant with a purpose. I support yr idea of gg for KNN drop-in filter.

Anyone know where can i get cheap replacement of leather, reasonable quality will do, no need too good. my fabric is too dusty....JB also can... 5 year cerato, serviced at Auto Friend every 3months using mineral oil, and change tyres every 1.5yrs at Stamford, change battery every 2 years... hello sir, use PVC not leather. our local climate is not suitable for leather. I've done mine at JB Gosford at RM800 (but that was 2 years ago).

I'm using ows na racing now and before that I was using redline's 5w30..ows just a little more smoother than the redline...but price 60 bucks more...so not really worth...but the thinner ur engine oil, the faster the engine response when u throttle...5w30...the 5w is flow rate during cold weather...winter season...which doesn't really concern us in Singapore...the 30 is the viscocity of the oil...meaning thickness...the higher the value the thicker...thicker oil provide better protection against friction...thinner can give better mileage as not much resistance...but those 50 or 60 usually for 2L or turbo charged engines...so end of the day is see wats required for ur driving style... hi bro, i don't dispute on what you said. FYI, even with 2L or TC, u can still use 30. Now the Q here is on viscosity @ what temp, bearing in mind that viscosity curve is directly proportional to the changes in temp. And I oso totally agreed with U - "depending on your driving style". in other words, u can oso use 30 on TC gg NSHW. if it's a cruising drive, change gear every 3000-3500rpm absolutely no issue. But if u rev close to red-line and constantly up-shift and down-shift, then u will notice the diff. If done that on a 2-way lane, the diff is almost immediate (say within the 1st 10km).

Yep, looks like 5w20 for 'racing'. Nobody using but got people buy wrongly that why selling (other forum). hehehehehe....u r absolutely rite. those ppl who bought 20 and go for "real racing" is totally nuts.

On local road, use 30 - nice & easy, no big deal. But if go NSHW then might be "a little problem". if on track use 30 on normal car just for fun ride, then after 3 rounds, u can get ready to pack-up. BTW, any idea what does the last 2-digits means b4 we talk abt whether to use 30 or 40 or 50? FYI track car (not normal car on a fun ride type) use 50 & 60 for them to last at least 15-20 rounds race. just my opinion and sharing and experiences. don't feel offended please!!!

yo bro, just chged the ATF at Kiang Auto on early Apr'10. and after clocking less than 7,000km i noticed that the ATF is "very black". Not sure whether did the fella really chged or not in the 1st place. why so "black"? I tot the interval chge is every 20,000km (as a rule-of-thumb)?
BTW, do we need to chge a specifc brand or any brand so long as it's use for ATF?

Ok bro out there, just came to know that UR has front strut bar for our ride. TRC is willing to bring it in from KL-JB 4 us at the price of RM200/pce (or maybe slightly higher as he has not done it b4. FYI RM200 is based on the assumption of forte/advante price). For those who are interested, please vist UR website.
