Hi Joey,
I noticed that my boot door suddenly cannot open. When press handle alot of free play like it doesn't engage the door catch lever.
May I know how much to repair?

Hi,
Can try Stamford Tyres at Loyang. I feel that their service is better than Harmony Motors. Big and airy workshop, you can stand beside your car and watch them work on your car. Technicians skillful. Free tyre rotation, as they are tyre specialist. If you service at Harmony, they dont balance your tyres as they do not have the equipment.

Hi Joey,
I am neither pissed nor angry with your services. The fact that it was expected out of a workshop in Autopoint. If you take the feedbacks positively but not feeling offended, this is the key in service industry.
I do not wish to send my car back if I would expect a no to fixing the problems. Typical of workshops not to admit faults but to say that it's not related to the servicing done.
And yes i agree that my fused headlight bulb was also not checked.
Thank you.

When I did my 80K servicing plus timing belt at Harmony,
1. Engine compartment very dirty and never air gun 2. Rear drum brake noisy 3. Wiper water reservoir leaking 4. Ah Hua replaced 2 no.s fan belts without asking consent. 5. Workshop messy, dirty and hot. Poor ventilation.
Do you guys think that a Korean car specialist is important? Well, any workshop will know how to service Korean cars. It is not like we are driving Maserati, Aston Martin etc.
To add, Harmony has no tyre services, not even balancing and proper rotation. I did not see the mech tighten the wheel nut with torque wrench, but instead using air gun. Will the air gun compressor always maintain the same pressure?

Hi all,
Well... $20 would not burn our pocket. But considering the higher cost, it is always a good practice to use the air compressor gun to blow off excess dust in the engine compartment, and clean off whichever grease stains left behind while dismantling coolant reservoir, power steering reservoir etc. Is this too much to do? Or is it very hard to do?
Anyway Joey, this is just a feedback which you may consider. I am aware of the quality service which Harmony Motor renders. Just imagine I open the bonnet and my friend asked why is it so dirty. Then should I reply because I serviced my car at Harmony? I don't mind paying $300 to C&C for servicing, because they really clean and leave no traces.
This is a detail which we have to look into if we want to provide premium service and allow Harmony to up level in the market. I have been in the service industry and worked in an Auto Workshop.
If you think this is not worth considering then let it be, and it will always be just a workshop in AMK.
Autobacs do clean after servicing. Bearing in mind, Autobacs have workshops over the world and they have 2 Mega workshops in Sg. Stamford Tyres, although they are tyre shop, but do try their service. You will definitely be impressed. Even like small little details such as, grease on engine, faulty tyre inflation valve, marking light bulbs, rim sitting seals, they will not charge for that.
Sometimes we have to think out of the box, and learn from successful organizations.

Hi Joey,
May I check how much do you charge for normal servicing? If I'm not wrong is $138? Isn't $138 on the steep side? From what I know you use OWS engine oil. But Stamford Tyres charge at $108 for OWS, plus free tyre rotation, and Shell at $118.
And I noticed after servicing, you guys do not clean the engine compartment but leave greases stains and dust.
Thanks.

It depends what have you done during 80k servicing. if you did your servicing properly, 90k servicing is nothing special. Just replace EO, spark plugs, service 4 brakes, tyre rotation.

Hi
Think Falken 912 is better. I have been using for 3 yrs and its the 2nd set. Traction is good even high speed travelling on wet roads. Bridgestone think not so good. Rubber hardened easily.

Hi Joey,
Recently I just had my 80,000km servicing at Harmony. Thanks for the great service Ah Hua had rendered and he will not reccomend unnecessary replacement. Overall the timing belt replacement price was reasonable. And after servicing, my car seems like has greater power and smoother engine.
But I would like to share that other than the timing belt, the servcing costs and replacement parts cost are the same as C&C. Do you think you should charge lower than authorised agent?
