Hi all, I have been answering a similar question for so long that I think it is good to share with all Harmony Motor's Service Schedule. This schedule is derive from years of experience from taking care of Korean cars. It may defer from the Owner's manual but trust me, it will make your car smooth and enjoyable. Attachments:

Dear Joey understand fr the schedule as well as C&C's that your recommend a coolant (radiator water) flush at every 40000km. Can we replaced with extended life coolant instead of renewing every 40K ?

Extended life coolant is good but you still have to check is there any lime formation. If there is, you still have to flush and change it regularly or it may choke the system.

Hi! Does the servicing package that you have, includes the cost of spark plugs?

Hi! Does the servicing package that you have, includes the cost of spark plugs? The present General Service Package for Asian Car is $128 (w/o spark plugs). The reason is that most of the cars today used Iridium Plugs which last longer and thus not in tandem with the regular service schedule.

Hi Joey,
May I check how much do you charge for normal servicing? If I'm not wrong is $138? Isn't $138 on the steep side? From what I know you use OWS engine oil. But Stamford Tyres charge at $108 for OWS, plus free tyre rotation, and Shell at $118.
And I noticed after servicing, you guys do not clean the engine compartment but leave greases stains and dust.
Thanks.

Extra $20 wun burnt our pocket unless its a big difference that u might wan to consider more before comitting..

Thanks Mindbox...
Hi Bro coolbluepica, thanks for your patronage. Every shop has their strength and weaknesses. Each have their price range and scope of service. Harmony is not here to compete who is cheaper. We are here to provide value for money service. Our price range and service standard and job scope will attract a group of like minded supporters. I really hope that you can see our value and continue to support us. Thanks

Hi all,
Well... $20 would not burn our pocket. But considering the higher cost, it is always a good practice to use the air compressor gun to blow off excess dust in the engine compartment, and clean off whichever grease stains left behind while dismantling coolant reservoir, power steering reservoir etc. Is this too much to do? Or is it very hard to do?
Anyway Joey, this is just a feedback which you may consider. I am aware of the quality service which Harmony Motor renders. Just imagine I open the bonnet and my friend asked why is it so dirty. Then should I reply because I serviced my car at Harmony? I don't mind paying $300 to C&C for servicing, because they really clean and leave no traces.
This is a detail which we have to look into if we want to provide premium service and allow Harmony to up level in the market. I have been in the service industry and worked in an Auto Workshop.
If you think this is not worth considering then let it be, and it will always be just a workshop in AMK.
Autobacs do clean after servicing. Bearing in mind, Autobacs have workshops over the world and they have 2 Mega workshops in Sg. Stamford Tyres, although they are tyre shop, but do try their service. You will definitely be impressed. Even like small little details such as, grease on engine, faulty tyre inflation valve, marking light bulbs, rim sitting seals, they will not charge for that.
Sometimes we have to think out of the box, and learn from successful organizations.

Thank you very much.

agree with you, they have premium price without premium service. i have stopped my servicing with them when my spouse told me : why on earth do you pay for $198 for a basic servicing, just replace 3L engine oil, engine filter, NORMAL spark plug for a 1.6 cerato + airgun my air filter. and why do u change yr spark plug at 5k? i say , the WS recommend me, so i believe they have their resaon. Currently now a happy customer service with shell premium service. Hi all, Well... $20 would not burn our pocket. Our major service, which include much more jobs like ATF, Brake Fluid, etc is above $250. I think your service with us must have other jobs that you did not state. Our pricing is computerised and standardised (each shop their own). I am very happy that you have found a reliable workshop to take care of your beloved car. That is most important. Thanks and best wishes to you.

I have been doing my servicing with Harmony since my 10K servicing - My Rio is running at 50+k now, which means I have done 5 servicing with them.
I concede that Harmony will not be the cheapest WS around, but I have been a satisfied customer so far. Their bills are always itemised so you know what you are paying for. They have always called to ask me if there are additional things to be changed (even the choice of spark plugs; I was advised the prices all the time before any work was done).
The above arrangement works well for me, and I remain a satisfied customer.

Thing to clarify, servicing indeed $128/$138 + remaining $ replacing of Normal spark plug for cerato, total $198. There is no other things i have replaced or changed. If there is, i will state here. Yes was being advice & informed by staff if to replace and was not being forced. i say YES and i thought y not since it was $20 (4pcs) as indicated in yr price list. asked why so ex when paying, was told is special normal spark plug.LL. so i was not aware/inform of the price all the way. I no not have the intention to blame anyone except myself for not asking. Just in case u ask again, i confirmed again is 4 pcs standard spark plug.
