Hi Joey, I am facing this problem. When I disarm my car I can open all three door but my passenger door cannot unlock, in the end I try to use manual to unlock. I couldn't shift the knob to open. It seems like jamming. Can you tell me how and how much to repair.

Joey, 1) can i check how much does 4pcs Koup spark plug cost?
2) During svcing, yr guys didnt detect our fused bulbs. so how consistent is the performance/checking as per yr svcing schedule?
3) EO u guys using r OWS-30. Is C&C using W40? any difference in performance as compared?

As management, we can set 100 point checks, but if the Mech go through it with both his eyes close, there's nothing you can do about it. The only way to prevent this is to train them well, motivate them so that they see what you are seeing and are willing to perform the best for you. So far I am very happy with my colleagues and their performance. Of course I also know that they are human being and will have off days. Just hope that their off days can be reduced to off hour...off minutes. 3. We are using OWS but never use 5W/30. Not even with other brands. This is because 5W/30 is too thin for our climate and will cause excessive wear ro your valve lifters. Making tak tak sound after some time and it is not repairable. We only recommend 5W/40 for all Korean Makes.

There are 2 main parts in there: Regulator Assembly and Electric Motor. Which need to be replaced? Better to let us do a check. Thanks

Hi Mr Man, Yes, I got your invoice in my record. our basic package is still consistence at @$128.00. As for the spark plug, price do fluctuate due to several reasons. We do mark up for profit according to the supplier price to us, as we need to sustain our overhead. The reason for the lowering of price is due to recent bulk purchase of this plug as the plug price dropped significantly. As stated, we dropped our selling price and pass the saving to our customers. At least we work better than the petroleum company . Therefore, I would like to thank you for your support, wish you all the best, happy for you to have found a new reliable workshop to service your car.

The record with KIA service was 41,000Km (January 2011) and do I need to send to your workshop for servicing? Thanks.

Your dealer said and do is 2 separate matter. You can send in your car to check did they change the oil and filter or not. At 41k km, it's a major mileage. Neither you or me can state what need to be done. You will need to physically inspect your car to know how is the condition. I advise you to send your car for inspection. Thanks

When I did my 80K servicing plus timing belt at Harmony,
1. Engine compartment very dirty and never air gun 2. Rear drum brake noisy 3. Wiper water reservoir leaking 4. Ah Hua replaced 2 no.s fan belts without asking consent. 5. Workshop messy, dirty and hot. Poor ventilation.
Do you guys think that a Korean car specialist is important? Well, any workshop will know how to service Korean cars. It is not like we are driving Maserati, Aston Martin etc.
To add, Harmony has no tyre services, not even balancing and proper rotation. I did not see the mech tighten the wheel nut with torque wrench, but instead using air gun. Will the air gun compressor always maintain the same pressure?

Hi CoolBluePica, I sensed that you are really pissed with our service. I reckon that Ah Hua must have missed lots of thing when servicing your car. I think he must have missed servicing you personally. I always remind him that a good job is not only completing a job but the customer must be happy after paying for our service. There are some truths in your comments above, I would personally like to look into your case. I am neither pissed nor angry with your services. The fact that it was expected out of a workshop in Autopoint. If you take the feedbacks positively but not feeling offended, this is the key in service industry.
I do not wish to send my car back if I would expect a no to fixing the problems. Typical of workshops not to admit faults but to say that it's not related to the servicing done.
And yes i agree that my fused headlight bulb was also not checked.

I certainly take your feedback seriously and positively. I fully understand you as a better informed kind of customers. You have been in my trade before, therefore, I will expect you to understand the quality of our workers and the kind of service standard a typical workshop will provide. Never have I claimed to be a workshop above the rest. We are just a normal workshop who is more familiar with Korean Car (being trained by the Korean myself).
Having only 2000 sqft workshop in AMK AutoPoint (the normal size for a HDB built workshop), there is only so many machines we can fit into this space. We may not have all the equipment that I want to have, but I can assure you that we have very good synergy with our neighbour and can get the job done within AutoPoint itself (like the tyre balancer, which we have in Jurong).
Engineering practice are laid out by me. We don't do fanciful stuff but practical one. We never torque our clients wheel, not because we don't know how to but most of our clients are sedan cars that comes with steel nuts and not aluminium ones. However, if our clients wheel nuts are of aluminium, we will do the torquing.
We cannot and dare not compare ourselves with big workshops like AD and Maserati specialist. We are only a economic car specialist and charge an economical and reasonable price. Never have we tried to compete with any other workshop by being the cheaper one. I think the motor repair charges in Singapore is really very low already (I am speaking from the experience of being the President of the Singapore Motor Workshop Association for 3 years and V.P. for 6 yrs). The lower we go on pricing, the worst the industry will be. We will not be able to attract good workers and will not be able to bring in good technologies to service the new cars. But having said that, I am being practical and not dare to commit suicide by pricing myself out of the market. Therefore, you will find that Harmony Motor is market price but with a specialist touch. We are in between Seng Siong and Cold Storage.
Our workshop is not the most tidy and cleanest in AutoPoint, neither are we the worst. I had been trying my best to cultivate my colleagues to have good housekeeping habit. My problem is that I am not there full time to do the monitoring job and help to set example by cleaning the place up. If you can come to my Jurong Workshop, you will find that the place is better kept.
I really appreciate your commitment and persistent in providing us with feedback here. Taking your time to post numerous time and teaching us how to upgrade our service standard. For this I have to take my hat off to you and say thank you. I hope that wth your good feedback, we will definitely take heed and improve ourselves to serve our customers better.

Joey, a quick check, a major svc at harmony charges 120 for brake system flush, 58 gear box oil renew manual, 38 power steering flush n oil change, 35 radiator coolin system renew on top of 128 general svcing pckg... Plus spark plugs total cost ard 400 n abv.. Price is almost e same for cycle n carriage?? Do let me knw if I shld nt b postin e exact figures up here.. Tks!

Thanks Went to AMK workshop last Saturday got apporintment with Ah Hwa. Removed faulty oil pressure meter and swap tyres within 2 hours. Will go back next month for servicing to prepare for LTA inspection.
