But till now i haven't seen a pica using bridgestone tyres. Most of the time i see, Falken, kumho, Nexen... Maybe you can try..

My advise, dun try Federal SS, I skidded a few times. Wait to change when govt give me another round of bonus.

Maybe, if one drive beyond the car,not only the tyres, limits skidding will be the first indication. My view - Skidding is more than the tyres itself. Drive within the car limits to be safe

Just upgrade to 15" 1 month ago. I notice my FC is much better than my previous 14" Rim. for 14" is better to go for 185/55.

Previous is on Federal 595(185/55/R14)for 2 years. I found the tyres grip is very good on dry & wet. Cornering very good also but it is very noisy. Mine current tyres 195/50/R15 bridgestone turanza er300 - save fuel but cornering stability not very good. Maybe is due to touring tyres

hi guys..
just want your opinion...
I am offered $680 for brand new rims and 195/45/R15 Falken 912 tyres at $680 from Stamford tyres (special price) since my company deals with tyres with them... do you think it's worth it?
But was offered $650 for Bridgstone tyres 195/50/R15 (not sure which model) from Eng Wah Tyres..
my current tyres are made in 2008 (made in indonesia) falken 512 i think..

Hi
Think Falken 912 is better. I have been using for 3 yrs and its the 2nd set. Traction is good even high speed travelling on wet roads. Bridgestone think not so good. Rubber hardened easily.

Anyway.. I have replaced my tyres and rims last saturday.. since the stock for 185/55/R14 was unavailable.. I went for 195/45/R15 with Kumho KU-31 tyres.. The ride is definitely quieter and smoother... it's not draggy as those previous tyres which came together with it.. Just to update the guys over here if they are looking to change tyres and rims..

I changed at Poh Heng... it was rather crowded.. a lot of ppl were changing tyres and rims..
the price they charged me after trading in is $650. Not sure it's ex or not.. Cos they were matching the Stamford Tyres special pricing which was offered to me.
Of course Stamford Tyres giving me Falken 912.
Good thing was the Kumho tyres are made in Korea and the manufacture date was stated was 1211.. and the rims are Taiwan rims..

I was skeptical that with a thin profile, I thought it will be a bumpy ride... But surprisingly the ride was smoother and not bumpy... and pick up amd movement is much better than 195/50

Changed new tyres, Yokohama S-Drive 195/45/15... Cornering very stable. Previously using Falken 912, wear off super fast.
