How long will it take to do QFR?

In about 10 mins. It's just basically transferring of the QFR file to your ECU through the OBD port.

Hi Roger, you can order RISK from Koch via the following:
"Do drop me a PM or SMS @ 97468085 if anyone else is interested. I'll input base on first come first serve basis. Kindly indicate as follow: Name, nick, contact number, Ride, Auto or Manual, w any BK & current setup. Some setup are not suitable for RISK. Thank you."
After RISK is done, you can contact Joey at 9636 9151 for QFR. Do note that RISK and QFR are done entirely by 2 different persons. RISK is from picantroy/Koch, while QFR is done by Joey from Harmony Motors. QFR (ECU tuning) is specially developed for RISK (air intake).

If you have already done up your RISK, straight away book QFR. Without the quickflash, you won't enjoy the full effects of RISK = i.e somewhat like wasted your $$ on RISK. You are not maximising the potential of RISK if you don't do the QFR. Best is go try out both different types of rides - one with RISK only and the other one with RISK + QFR, then you will be convinced. Just my 2 cents worth!!

How is the effectiveness on the QFR that the mapping won't be overwrite ?
Instead of butt feeling, what would be the parameters to show that the QFR mapping is still in place ?

Once QFR is flashed into your ECU, it will be permanently in the ECU itself. Even if you changed your battery or reset ECU, it's still there. However, during these circumstances, the adaptive memory will be erased. Hence, it may feel slightly strange when you started driving your vehicle after a battery change but it will return to what it was after one tank of driving.
There is no way for you to read the map w/o the proper tools. probably AFR will be the best indication. But if you install QFR, you will be able to tell the difference by the low end when you move off. It definitely have a difference before and after QFR.

i understand that QF is transferrable to other ride. If i going to sell it or keep for my next ride that is without the inductive system, how to progress this ownership transfer ?

Goto Harmony motor to transfer to other ride at a cost of $107.00 with GST. Only first hand QF can transfer. Harmony Motor will have a record. Less than 10mins dekitted the QF and back to the car original setting, you will have a feeling to be driven with QF/without QF....

So the risk map is sold or transfer separately ?

This map can be acquired as with QF. In fact, the terms and conditions are same with QF. If you buy first hand at $480, you can do a transfer once, be it transfer to your next ride or sell it away. A transfer fee of $107 is applicable. If you buy 2nd hand, then there is no more transfer. It goes with the vehicle.
If you already have QF, you pay additional $100 to upgrade. However, if not, you pay $480 to get the QFR map straight away.

Ok so bro yeo, if I didn't do RISK and I go straight for QFR do I have the save effect with RISK + QF?

Of course got improvement but not as great....
Btw, if you no Risk then, Joey will use QF withour R as R is cartered for RISK intake...
To maximise potential of the ride, need to use the correct sofware and hardware ma...
No shortcut, if like if effect same then I save my $560 then just $480 will do....haha....
That will be interesting if can do, let us know what will happened...
Thereafter, you go meetup and check one with both QFR and RISK... see if got any difference...

Yup.. Agreed.. You should always do hardware and then software. Hence, it is recommended that you do RISK (hardware), then do QFR (software). If for some reasons you chose to retain your airbox setup, then you can do the normal QF (software) which is designed for stock intakes. Price is the same as $480. These are the options that you can consider.
