without RISK = > QF with RISK = > QFR (480) with RISK & QF = > QFR (100 upgrade) correct or not huh?! wahaaa, i dont have any of it yet. Correct I help you add in red arrows. (: For shy3r I think you should go RISK your ride first. Then feel the difference shiok shiok for 1 month. Then go and do QFR more shiok for long time. Roy tell me must do step by step. If you do it both at the same time you won't know how good RISK is. But honestly when I did RISK I felt that it was a huge improvement to my small little picanto. After I did QFR the picanto drives like a much bigger cc car. The torque is consistent over a large range of RPM and the car pulls very smoothly. So far this are the only 2 mods I've done.

Nope.. If you are already on QF(general), you pay $100 to upgrade to QFR. If you have not purchased QF before, you pay $480 to get the QFR map directly. So it is either $100 or $480.

2nd hand QF go do QFR from u, can we revert back to 1st time owner priviledge? All QF (1st or 2nd hand) can be upgraded.

Thanks all for your compliments (except for Mindbox, don't know compliment or suan me, ). I am so glad that my tuning generates good result for all of you. Thanks for all your support. compliments bro joey... its hard to have a reputable workshop to assist in R&D for such product, esp its 'invented' by a group of car owners... somemore willing to do software tuning to match his mod... too bad i broke liao..due to other committment lately.... if not, i will like to try this for fun... Haha, thanks for your compliments! Broke? Go buy more Toto and 4D, your luck is always very good!

You don't wanna consider doing FDL? It's a more comprehensive and custom tune designed to suit your exhaust.

Hmm..wnder if my mod exhaust and extractor will help when i do the QFR anot..haha I would suggest that your add on the intake mod and then do an FDL. It's a waste if you have already done the exhaust and left the intake stock.

First I must thanks Joey for the great job. Done QFR at Harmony today. Tested without air-condition switch on car feel even lighter at all gears and RPM of each gear change stay between 1.6rpm to 2.5rpm, then tested with air-condition switch on RPM on each gear change stay the same and will not feel the extra load was added. On the way back along the expressway can feel the pickup is much easier and can roll even further when letting go the throttle and power is deliver thru every gears whenever you need it.

Er,wats full data log btw?haha Full data log basically means a ECU remap or sometimes they call it customized tuning. The tuner basically will remove your stock mapping and create a custom map specially designed to bring out the best from your mods including your intake and exhaust. This sounds easy but it's quite complex. The tuner will need to take readings from your exhaust fumes to determine the optimum levels of hydrocarbons and oxygen levels. He also needs to read the parameters on his laptop. But one major advantage is that your low end torque will be good. Improves alot on driveability.

FDL cost $880. But the price is justifiable because it takes much more effort to tune it compared to QF where it just involves transferring a file through the OBD port.
So best is to think what you want..

But both FDL and QRF is not transferable right? In case next time I want to change car of the same make.. FDL not transferable. QF or QFR can do transfer once at a fee of $107 (inclusive of GST). Remember, ONLY once. If u bought QF from someone else, u can't do anymore transfer. Thus, best to get brand new from Joey.

If you take me as example, I bought first hand QF from Joey in 2009 at $480. In 2010, I sold the QF for $200 to someone else. So I only paid $280 for the QF to be exact. $280 for a ECU mapping? I can say it's one of the lowest price you can find. It's definitely value for money. The QF I'm having now is only first hand.
So currently, if you are having stock extractor and don't wish to revert back to aftermarket extractor, then can go for QFR after doing RISK. That's the best value for money suggestion because both mods compliment each other and bring your ride to another level.
Most importantly, these mods really works. This is justified by the number of positive reviews you read in the forum.

Hmm.. Then I think you should do QFR if you don't intend to switch back to your aftermarket extractor.

Hmmm, if I decided to switch back to my after market extractor after installing QFR, is it okay too?Really can feel the low end when installed QFR ah?haha

If you intend to switch back to aftermarket extractor, then you should do the switching first, then do the FDL. QFR is tuned for RISK with no modifications on the exhaust part.
Seriously, I'm not sure of the results of QFR with aftermarket extractor. But I think it won't be as gd as FDL because it isn't tuned for the airflow changes due to the extractor.
This is how I feel. Perhaps you can call Joey for a direct answer.
