Tat one is much easier coz Subaru from the TS to STi all same platform...so dumping in the bigger engine is not much of a problem...For Cerato, the 2L engine will be a good start...if u can find it... ;D Wat psyfool said is correct. Had seen lots of TS putting in 2.5NA engine fr aussie or US. Fr the outlook really cant tell the diff. Unless u drop the oil tank then u'll find it bigger. As for V1, i think u can try to drop a Tuscani 2.0 engine, then TC it. Probably can give u ard 200+ hp ba. But if u wanna use bk ur engine, can go jb try those bolt on snail lo. It's cheaper with slightly hp up @ low boost. 2.5l NA engine is frm legacy if im not wrong....

But then, even if u intend to drop in that engine, doubt the gearbox will fit the engine.. Might need to change it as well..

chassis would not fit, even if can fit after modification(illegal to modify chasis), too many things to be changed: ECU, fuel pump, fuel rail, suspension(engine weight difference will screw up the stock front suspension) etc, etc... the cost of labor would not make this logical solution. if you are really bent on increasing hp, can consider to re bore/re hone your cylinders, skim your cylinder cover and change your piston head/con rod to increase the bore/stroke to increase chamber volume. but this is an extreme modification and carries an big risk when not done professionally. i only know of 1 workshop which offers this service. and this increase is not much, 1600cc divide by 4 cyclinders = 400cc per cylinder, max increase per cylinder= 20cc, so 420cc per cylinder x 4 = 1680cc. not even 1.7L here is a video of engine cylinder honing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQfh6AZxL08after increasing your engine volume, you'll need to have your A/F maps and MAF sensor changed.

Yeah, increase volumetric efficiency by doing so..

Brembo!. No la. Just joking. Brakes also doesn't means the more they r recognised, the better they r. It also falls to the compound used on the brake pads. Simple, just try original kia brake pads compared to maybe mintex. Definitely aftermarket better rite? So unless got ppl with so much to burn and tried all the brandsb4, u can get a very good opinion. But if u ask me, all aftermarket brake systems r definitely better than stock.

For brake, can juz change steel braided hose will do. The bitting is definately much better than stock. It's still much more cheaper than changing the whole braking system.
