Just asking Saniboy is confusing pple...I was confused when I first read too..Tot using both drop-in and open pod simultaneously.. ..I tink he meant he tried using both b4 and owns both types..I tink now he's back to drop-in..

Hi Me using K&N drop in & remove my resonator. So far felt gd. washed once already.... As I will be using my ride for long and K&N is rewashable, i think its the most value for $ Lastly, if anyone going to get the washing kit, go to speekworks. Its the cheapest. Think i got it for $22 or $20. Enable me to wash my filter every 5-10km to ensure best filtration and air flow... jemjem

I actually do it per servicing la. depending on when i service my car... Also the kit will enable one to wash the filter many many times. hee hee.. and mine is opc. so to me, wan to wait for 50km then wash.. hahahaha... the lifetime of the car i can only wash 3-4 times.... jemjem

This will further reduce the filtration ability... but of cos.. if like some of the bros here who only intend to keep the car for 3 yrs... then no issues. jemjem
