Thanks for the cleaning tips guys. Just bought the H - SS filters but drop-in type. I think it improves the cars' performance a bit ... but don't really know if it is just in the mind only, cos buy must say good hahaha.... I should have kept the stock filters then maybe i can make a fair comparison... maybe i should Btw, how much are the stock filters... can use them when i clean the H-SS filters as a stop-gap measure while waiting for it to dry... afraid i might be in a hurry and forget to put back the filter and drive off

You mean your ride has 2 types of filteration? Just asking Saniboy is confusing pple...I was confused when I first read too..Tot using both drop-in and open pod simultaneously.. ..I tink he meant he tried using both b4 and owns both types..I tink now he's back to drop-in.. Oooopsss... Im using drop in normally but once in a while wil change to my open pod.

bro... my knowledge resources are limited... but if i'm not wrong Whitesnail "also known as" Jason can customise Apexi filters for you. He told me once that it will take him around 3 days to customise. I think he will be your best bet for getting after market filters if other known places draws a blank. No harm can give him a try. Can get his contact under performance thread - SJ CAI. Hope it helps you in sourcing for an after market filter.

IMO, the original Apexi filters are much better than the popular ones like HKS & Blitz, in maintanance & performance
