IMO, the original Apexi filters are much better than the popular ones like HKS & Blitz, in maintanance & performance

IMO, the original Apexi filters are much better than the popular ones like HKS & Blitz, in maintanance & performance U tried all others? I personally tried Apexi, Simota and HKS. Wil stick to my HKS open pod. Anyway, its ppl personal preferences. U may like it but not others.

If u wanna more suction power, go for hks. ;D About the same concept..but not exactly the same...If u compare the surface area of suction, I tink the drop in filter surface area is much smaller to the surface area of Apexi Power Intake (if spread out)...so, the Apexi pod can take in more air..don't tink the stock box can fit the Apexi pod...so need to customise a bigger box...

Aluminium ram pipe...but intending to change to CF ram pipe...heh..heh.. ;D Yo psyfool7 how much you pay for the Apexi setup & which workshop you purchase from. Thanks Whole setup DIYed..went thru a few variations before settling on the current setup..... Bought Apexi Power Intake at $80 and adapter (needed) $15 from Uncle Loo (not Uncle LMF) of Speedworks located at Guan Hua Warehouse, Genting Lane...Tink cheaper buy frm him coz he's the distributor for Apexi and Pivot I tink..other place selling more than $100... ..Also got the CAI hose from him at about $11.50/ ft....2ft shd be enuff.. Ram pipe set with necessary rubber couplings can buy in JB cheap2...Maybe abt RM40-60.. ..Sg not sure how much.. Insulation foam bought frm rubber shop at Serangoon Rd..at abt $24.50/ft..1 foot enuff.. ...So add up to ard $180...(prices may vary now)
