Theoretically, changing gears faster to the higher gear saves more fuel, and with more gentle RPM during gear change. Thus, changing gear with RPM at 2k should be more fuel saving than changing gear at 2.5k RPM. Well, I've done 2 tests before for my pica. By changing gears constantly at 2rpm for one test, and the other at 2.5rpm. The one at 2.5rpm achieves better mileage. I believe that although a vehicle at 2.5rpm uses more fuel than 2rpm, the engine performs more efficiently compared to 2rpm. Stock FC: 10.1 - 10.5km/ltr QF + RISK FC: 10.6 - 11.5km/ltr (Avg 11km/ltr) QF + RISK + 2.5rpm + roll - 11.98km/ltr By avoiding 2rpm and below, I managed to squeeze out another 1 km/ltr from my tank. I believe that although the rolling is a key factor, the 2.5rpm plays a major role as well. Interestingly, I realized that once low fuel indicator lights up, the ECU adjust itself accordingly. Power consumption from air con is reduced. Air con fan is set to low speed and blows out only cool air. Not cold as compared to before. Throttle response is retarded and vehicle feels 'weakened'. If I have a button to activate this economy mode, I think my FC sure will be better..

I was told that HKS exhaust installed, my low end will suffer.. Fong kim suggest to accomodate the low end suffer, can put LTA approved extractor. But if i dun wan to the extractor, will QFR compensate my low end suffer?

QFR is specifically designed for RISK only. It cannot be perfect for any other performance parts.

If ur ride got do mods on exhaust or extractor, DIE DIE can do FDL only. QFR is ONLY for stock ride done up w RISK. Many Forte members who did RISK+HKS exhaust also felt tat their low end is no longer as powerful as RISK+stock. Thus, they can't do QFR. Can ONLY do FDL.Hope this will help to clear all doubts. Hehe...

If your ride is Auto, even if put extractor 4-2-1 LTA approved. Sure lag cuz of your HKS exhaust.
Already tested that HKS muffler not suitable for auto.
Of course, how much you can fine tune, depends on the tuner/type of tuning.
If you try putting back the stock muffler, you get back the drivibility.
Since you intended to do so much, just go straight for FDL to maximise the output after all hardware.

I feel that you should put HKS muffler + extractor + RISK, then go for FDL. Solve all the problem. But of course, you have to consider the price of muffler & muffler vs an approved full system exhaust.
