Oh.. I mistaken for the Ron fuel issue.. The manual says "for optimal performance, we recommend you to use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of ron95 or higher. You may use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of ron91-94 but it may result in slight performance reduction of the vehicle."
however, the abov statement applies to Europe picantos.
Others: your new Kia vehicle is designed to use only unleaded fuel having a ron91 or higher. So it seems that we can actually use ron92..

So ron92 really yields better FC?

Higher octane fuel, has a slower rate of burning, i.e. spark fired but the max combustion pressure and 'piston push' occur later than a lower octane after TDC of the piston down stroke. So theory wise it waste a little more fuel than lower octane fuel for normal engine demand.

Oh.. That means 28ltrs for 487km.. So, FC is 17.39km/ltr.. Good FC!
