Can, can be painted.. But needs much attention when doing so... If not the paintwork may peel and crack under harsh weather conditions.. Harsh as in, rain and shine.. What type of sand paper? Can get the those graded 800cw ones.. Meant for wood/glass...

High temp spray for the calipers? Usually for hi heat applications.. Mine is still sticking well and paintwork is like already "bonded" to the caliper.. Can apply lacquer for "durability" and the gloss look.. But I didnt lacquer mine tho..

Hi peeps! Just sprayed my calipers.. And since that the next DIY session will commence soon, I guess this would be helpful for those who are keen to do theirs... First of all, loosen all the lug nuts on the wheels.. But do not remove them yet.. Jack up the vehicle at the given mounting points.. The jack itself shd have instructions on where to place it.. Now, remove the wheel and u'll get something like so.. SAFETY FIRST! Place the wheel under the car.. If the jack gives way, at least the wheel will support the car.. Depending on condition, prep the caliper by using a sandpaper meant for iron.. Not wood.. Sand it accordingly.. After sanding, remove the residue caused by smoothing.. Advisable to clean off with a wet sponge and dry it.. Mask off the rotors/parts that u dun wanna get paint on them.. Now, apply the paint THINLY.. Layer by layer.. Repeat the application of paint until u are satisfied with the outcome.. And u'll get something like this.. U might wish to apply a healthy coat of clear coat.. But I didnt.. Endless look alike calipers anyone?? Hehehe.. bro on ur pic no 8 & 9... i see the area u use masking tape is the area that u dun wanna spray... but on pic no 10 ah.. wen u affixed the wheel i see the area is already spray painted ... my question is that masked area can it be sprayed or not ah... n any specific area cannot be sprayed... i noe the disc cant ah...

Wahaha.. Relax macha.. Don't panic.. Anyway, just spray w/o lacquer first.. I did about 5-6 layers and every coat is thin.. Once done, the paintwork will turn out even.. Take ur time, don't rush..

Ok, with regards to that pic.. My initial thought was to leave the part where I masked its original color.. But after I peel off the tape, the color doesn't match.. So I sprayed it lah.. And the point is to cover every inch of the caliper that is seen..
