Hi peeps! Just sprayed my calipers.. And since that the next DIY session will commence soon, I guess this would be helpful for those who are keen to do theirs... First of all, loosen all the lug nuts on the wheels.. But do not remove them yet.. Jack up the vehicle at the given mounting points.. The jack itself shd have instructions on where to place it.. Now, remove the wheel and u'll get something like so.. SAFETY FIRST! Place the wheel under the car.. If the jack gives way, at least the wheel will support the car.. Depending on condition, prep the caliper by using a sandpaper meant for iron.. Not wood.. Sand it accordingly.. After sanding, remove the residue caused by smoothing.. Advisable to clean off with a wet sponge and dry it.. Mask off the rotors/parts that u dun wanna get paint on them.. Now, apply the paint THINLY.. Layer by layer.. Repeat the application of paint until u are satisfied with the outcome.. And u'll get something like this.. U might wish to apply a healthy coat of clear coat.. But I didnt.. Endless look alike calipers anyone?? Hehehe..

...But why nvr apply clear coat?..Tink it will not be durable w/o the clear coat...can easily peel off/ scratched.... ....one more thing, can also prime the surface first with primer b4 spraying the actual color..I did tat for mine.. Hmmm...Now not sure..whether to re-spray my front calipers to metallic black to match my rear 'Wilwood' cover..OR fix up the 'Wilwood' cover... ..might ask Alex to fix for me..coz i tink there's some clearance issue with my current rims..

Can 2 jacks be use? Coz i think 2 jacks will distribute the weight better.

Nope it won't melt...I got Brembo stricker pasted on it and clear coated.. ...I even pasted the rotor hub with black sticker and put AEM around it...also didn't melt..But the sticker will harden..
