That's what I thought so too because I know Oracals can withstand heat... Maybe I will repsray it to a lighter shade on Sunday's DIY session.. Instead of putting "Spoon" logo, Maybe I will replace it with "Nissin"(Not the cup noodles ahh).. Why not 'Fork'??..

Spray mine when I change my rims @ ban hin. Mark ask me to use those heat resistant paint as the normal one cannot withstand the heat generated by the brakes. I bought the paint from autobac, about $20 per can and is able to cover all pads. Paint a bit expensive but still cheaper than using those covers and I very worry if the covers drop of when the car is on the move.... sound scary if I cant brake.

Pylox aerosols are good... Quite hi-temp resistant.. I used it to paint my engine cover and so far so good after a year... The paint is like "bonded" to the cover...

Pylox can tahan...no need for Hi-temp sprays..Our brakes can be hot, but for normal day to day driving not too hot like performance cars...so shd be OK...Mine has been abt more than 2yrs...It still sticks..Got some peeling but those are due to my rims hitting the paintwork when removing rims.. ...Hi-temp more for very high heat..like spraying on extractor, exhausts, BBQ grills etc... But if can use hi-temp wld be better lah...Normal hardware shop got sell hi-temp sprays..but limited colors..tink only red, black and silver..no fancyful colors.. ...and it's not very expensive..about $10 a can I tink... And avoid cheaper brands like Anchor..Not lasting..coz these are more for marking purposes by contractors and simple spray jobs.. and also for bored teens to paint graffiti on public walls.....
