Bro, can try to contact Justin from Poh Heng tyre @ Ang Mo Kio. He has a few range of tyre depending on your budget. I guess yours is 17 inch right??? Price will be higher. I recommend Falken 522 to you, balance of price, comfort and performances. This is made in Indonesia if you don't mind the country of origin. I been using for the past 9 months and no problem at all. Hope you find something suitable!

bros.. tyres are your ONLY interface with the road. Whether you stop in time or kiss the fella infront depend on this (and brakes lah) no matter what good brakes you have, you need equally good tyres to stop in time. Don't save too much money on cheap tyres and end up regretting.
Think of a set of tyres at 1K divide into like 2 years use is $500 per year to keep you safe during times of emergency braking

I'm using db decibel on my wife's V2. Quiet & comfort tyre, not bad. Had tried my friend's GR80 on his avante. The GR80 better. More quiet than my db. Will definately shift to GR80 aft my tyre botak.

GR80 apparently is a discontinued model. Better snap up the remaining stocks if you see it. And dont forget to tell me where you saw it

Read from ur thread that u negotiate corners at hi speeds after lowering.. I suggest u go for hi performance tires.. Mostly with AA traction rating.. Oh, I am using Kumho KU15 btw.. Very good dry grip.. Sticky when warmed up..

I'm currently on Toyo T1R running on 205/50/16 profile. A good tyre on wet and dry but not really quiet though. A common trait for performance tyres. It's a trade off lah.....if you want performance than you need to sacrifice on noise and vice versa.

Meaning it will wear ot faster compared to comfort biased ones..

Since the $$ is abt the same, i would rather choose Nexen N2000 or pay abit more for N3000. Gd in both dry & wet rd condition and it's much more quieter than BF.

I think don't waste $$ buying heavy marketed "branded" tyres lah.... Korean brands like Hankook and Kumho are know to be cheap and reliable. However, I'm worried about those other newer Asian brands...cheap but not sure about reliability and wet /high speed performance... With the same amount of $$ you can either get a average "branded" tyres or higher-end korean tyres. Just like our Kia Cerato is prices like a Toyota Vios but comparable(or even better) than a Altis.

Bro, tyre is diff story. Some of the lower grade Korean & Thailand made tyre will harden faster than those japs tyres. But most important, muz check the manufacturing week of the tyres b4 u lup on ur rim. Better get those which is manufactured withing the same yr.
