R.I.S.K. - A combination of working principles
*Unique air scoop
Sucking warm air in from the engine bay is a great way to lose power. Getting enough fresh, cold air into the cylinders is a challenge on normally aspirated cars.The unique air scoop concentrates and pushes the air into the filter. It forms a key part of the RISK system.
*Cold Air Intake System
Air is being drawn directly from outside the engine bay. Many CAI systems make use of the cold air principle to improve the air intake quality. Cold air carries more oxygen molecule. (for NA rides)
*Air Induction System
The air is then 'charged' into the filter via a direct route. Bends are avoided to minimise frictional losses and to ensure smooth flow of air into the filter thus allowing a greater mass flow through the cylinder intake valve and hence increasing engine power.
*Unique Cone Filter
Specially designed cone filter creates an environment that causes air to be charged. Together with the air scoop, it forms the basis which is the present RISK system.
*Made to 'Sprint'
RISK is not meant for racing. It will not make your vehicle clear the speedometer. Rather, it is designed to improve acceleration from point to point and is focused on low and mid range. With this improvement, driving experience and overtaking ability is enhanced. Best for daily local sg driving.
*Extensive R&D
Many hours of R&D has been spent on the design of RISK system to achieve what it is meant to. Dyno proven to allow an AT pica to overcome transmission losses to be on par with a MT pica in terms of maximum power output.

For Suzuki Swift,Toyota Wish, Honda Fit, Lancer EX and Honda Stream will need additional cost for a short ram air flow adapter pipe. For Lancer GLX (CS3) MST make sure got no foglights.

The following services are available for RISKers:
1) Cleaning of RISK filter: $30
Kindly contact Bro Kelvin @ 97468085 to check and make appointment.
If you feel that your RISK doesn't exhibit the same kind of responsiveness and power compared to the time it was installed and you have not performed cleaning for 30000km, it's time to do a clean up and restore the performance to what it should be.
2) Repair of RISK setup
If you are experiencing a sudden loss of pickup and acceleration, there is a chance that your RISK setup is damaged due to wear and tear. Khoo provides repairs and replacement of parts in the RISK setup. Charges varies according to the nature of parts replacement.
*Please note that for the loss of acceleration and lag, there may be other factors involved. It depends on how well the owner has maintained his vehicle. Cleaning of filter alone cannot solve other unforeseen problems that is due to engine wear and tear.
