Hey guys, its great to be back. Been out of action for quite sometime due to my work commitments which is like crazy. Just wanna check out if any of you guys had mod your exhaust. Intend to bring down the rear exhaust box, get a straight pipe in, fill up with steel fiber wool and seal it back up. I heard it will release a couple of additional horsepower for the same amount of petrol burnt. What is your take on this? Appreciate your views and advice please.

operate the muffler will definitely a cost effective way to gain a little horsepower but you sure u want to really operate your own stock muffler?
my neighbour kena from tp becos of operated exhaust. the tp is beside his vehicle and he asked him there is a problem with the exhaust. so he escorted my neighbour to the inspection centre and found out he got his exhaust operated. he got a hefty fine of 500.

Honestly speaking, it is really not advisable to do the illegal.....$500 fine if kena caught is not worth it I only did the legal mod of my exhaust muffler.....cosemetic purpose ok lah..... But again, to each his own. Consider properly...... Hey guys, its great to be back. Been out of action for quite sometime due to my work commitments which is like crazy. Hi guys, just wanna share, did the 'operation' on my muffler. Packed it really tight with fibre and boy let me share with you guys, the sound is cool, very silent, the art work done by my one and only exhaust specialist is superb and not even a trace of that the muffler has been operated on and best of all, POWER>................................

Well, I got my best friend Man from Man Exhaust to do it for me as I am comfortable with him after knowing him for all this years. I know some people says that he is not up to their mark, well to me it is all up to individual. My brother when to Jeep Chee and some of my best friends went to Fong Kim Exhaust but one thing for sure this operations works.........................
It took about 1 and a 1/2 hours to 2 depending on the number of cars that they have to do. Make sure that you emphasize that the muffler must be packed with fibre tightly as you want the most minimal exhaust sound so as not to arouse suspicion of our fellow law enforcers.
I have discovered that if the cutting of the muffler is done correctly due to the uniqueness of our Carens muffler, visual inspection from below will not give away any signs that it has been operated on.
