Halo, May i know who else did ECU programming to your Caren/Citra? Any changes of your FC? What I mean is tremendously increase... Mine increase of 20% after Joey fine tune my programming which I done during the CNY promotion... Previously 45L can gain 400KM...now 45L can only gain 310-320KM.... Data input into ECU is dead one. It will not change. If you are experiencing any difference over a period of time, most of the time its affected by the mechanical aspect of the engine. Normally after a hard drive, eg track or cheong along NS Highway, the ECU adaptive memory will change the adaptation and this normally result in higher fuel consumption. Take my ride for example, 45l for 380km. But after track day, FC will drop to 300km. And this will go on for 2-3 tanks. What I usually do is reset the adaptive memory and FC will immediately improve to 340-350km. Then after 1-2 tanks, it will normalise at 380km. Another example: this lancer called me to reflash stock data back into ECU after more than a year of programming. Reason being that engine starts to knock recently and his regular Mech start away point to the programming fault. When come to me, I found that mileage already 110k km and engine knocks when sudden throttle. I did 2 things, change fuel filter and clean up air filter. Problem solved. So, its best to understand the source of the problem then do an effective remedy rather then pointing at the wrong direction. So, please come to me for check up. Thanks Joey

Thanks Joey honestly, the programming really so call upgraded my car performmnce...i believe my other citra members (in other forum)also feeling jealous about this. basically there is no problem regard the program, simply need expert like joey to assist on the "sudden" high FC issue. met joey at his gerage at Chia Ping Rd today...really appreciated his help and explaination regarding the issue. will monitor the outcome and feed back to him. folks, if you are really want to do such upgrade (ECU program), do not hesitate to look for expert like joey.

yah.....joey "bo beh chao" 1 lah.....when i did my Carens quickflash with him, found the car still no power....he did a check and found that problems lies with my catylic convertor had collapsed and so I end up claimed warranty with CnC..... But honestly, after doing the ECU quickflash, my avg FC at 9.0km/l dropped to 8.5km/l.....but the power unleashed definitely worth the increase in FC....well compensated and NO REGRETS!

I also did my Sportage QF with Joey, the results is wow!! Very powerful torque gain, no regrets. FC remains at 9.3km/L too bad I done it before CNY promo, so spend $400++
