Can someone share with me inputs on KIA SPORTAGE because I have been myths on it so I rather hear frm the experts here:
1) Fuel Consumption (?KM/Litre) 2) Performance & Power 3) Value for $? 4) Is it true due to the engine heat, the seating compartment feels hot?
Because I am considering buying one & I am a new buyer......thnks

1) Fuel Consumption (?KM/Litre)
City drive = 6KM/L Highway drive = 8KM/L
2) Performance & Power
Not bad compare to in its class. A lot have smell my smoke.
3) Value for $?
It's value for $ if u like it.
4) Is it true due to the engine heat, the seating compartment feels hot?
I have not come across this after 3 years of driving.
Overall, not bad. Till today, I still like the the Sportage. However, the boot is smaller compare to it's class.

1) Fuel Consumption (?KM/Litre) Current Avg: 7.5km/l Previous Avg: 8.5km/l (lighter right foot)
2) Performance & Power To me, decent for vehicles weight and price.
3) Value for $? At current prices, OF COURSE!
4) Is it true due to the engine heat, the seating compartment feels hot? Nope. Only feel hot is park under the Sun for extended period of time. BTW, the windscreen and glass panels all around are quite large, hence, if you do not have decent/good window film that blocks out the harmful rays and heat it will get hot. My dad has the same vehicle and he had 1 of the cheaper window film options, on occasions that I had to drive his Sportage, the heat is significantly higher then what i experience in mine.
Back to your question, I answer with the question "What engine heat?".

2) Performance & Power Not bad for this rig.
3) Value for $? Definitely Value for money.
4) Is it true due to the engine heat, the seating compartment feels hot? So far didn't come across such incident.

Hi there, Mine do go offroad although it just 2WD, so far engine is still stock. The only change is lifted the height of my sportage by another 2" inches and change to AT tyre (mine are Yoko ATS). Of course, not to forget HELLaaa.....lights!! So far this rig quite solid, sometimes it even beat some of the 4WD cars in certain terrain. Hi All, Thanks for your kind inputs....by the way has anybody here mod their SPORTAGE for 0ff-road purpose??Any photos to share?
