nakshire post...
also to add on, RISK set up is good is because the idea makes your bonnet cool all the time. If you guys know, our picanto actually gets very hot in the bonnet after a while. This set up is way too cool, it makes your engine compartment cooling while u enjoy the speed.
do a little bit more on exhaust system, it will compliment on the set up. no need buy big CC cars liao. run with the set up and zip around the traffic with this little devil

devilcup post.. ok there are stuff i dun think i can explain which is a nicest setup roy made! that for you to see tonite. However, R.I.S.K consist of serveral portion, at least 2. The portion i can find explanation is the R.I.S.K first fundamental, the air scoop for Air induction. Below is the link for explanation on the scoop. f1-dictionary.110mb.com/airbox.html

Roy, remember not to let anyone take photo of your invention! Or else copycat VeryRISK or RISKY will spring up all over Singapore! Then you patent no longer valid and also not worth $$ liao.

i tried on khoo85 pica just now. the effect is WOW. It just feels that the car is lighter and easier to push it forward. I like the mod. very very shiok. This is the experience that I get when I compare it to stock pica: Stock Picanto | RISK picanto | lag in gear 1, rev a bit higher, and you can feel that the car is going to come apart. | light. You feel that the car is light and you are able to step a bit more | gear 2 has a bit more power. You are able to rev up by stepping harder. For heavy footers, gear 2 is the best for pick up, plateau at 2.5-3k rpm. | same as stock. But the torque and the pushing effect kicks in almost immediately when you step on the accelerator. it means that your pick up is increased tremendously at low RPM, making your ride zoom up fast before hitting the plateau. |

gear 3, you just push it up normally. tried to slow down like as if u got stucked in a jam and increasing speed almost immediately. You will feel that your car is dragging a cow behind. did the same thing for gear 3, stepped on brake to slow it down and pushing it up. Almost can feel that response from the foot immediately. The feeling of 'cow dragging' is still there, but i can tell you, the cow slimmed down for you this time.

gear 4 no comments, din try that high to make any comparisons!-

I will not say it will makan a 1.6L like what bro James said. maybe because i merely tested khoo's pica and his is a half set up. But I can assure you guys, this mod is something worthy to consider. Very good for people who always travel on the road, it makes your ride more enjoyable.

Hi Roy, I'm now on open pod for my intake.. I read with interest on the air scoop for the risk setup.. Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend the meet up.. My objective is to increase the airflow into the engine, hoping that with more cold air coming in from outside. May I know if risk can achieve this?

Bro Picanyeo, RISK surely increase e airflow to e engine. However, u need to change ur setup to install RISK. A few bros had a test drive earlier on. Ur engine will surely be cooler & experience POWER @ every gear after installing RISK. Even our Korean ride Guru aka Joey also commented "dream set up" on RISK! Hurry! Register fast to have ur RISK installed by 31 Dec 2010!

actually the thing is not that there are more air into the air filter is better. the key note is how to get constance fresh cool air into the filter and to the engine. if you open up ur throttle for cleaning, u can try turn on ur engine, the air flow is not resisted, u can feel by ur hand how much air is suck in when the engine is idle only...
since it is natural air induction, meaning your car need to be on the move, then the air will go in. the faster u move, the pressure of the air will be higher. However, if the pressure too high, the fresh cool air dun not travel to the filter as it is full of air already! IF the pressure too low, the air is not enuff to feed in to the engine... this is the tricky part and roy really solve this will incredible solution.
Do pay a visit to roy, picankoch or Jason's car, you can oso see those who have installed. u will feel the difference!
