I am driving a 2006 Rio and having a long term problem with my ride. The engine check light appeared and after diagnostic it was my O2 sensor. Therefore, after changing both sensors (Bank 1 and Bank 2), the engine check light appeared again a few days later. I have went to another workshop and after running a diagnostic scan it still showed the same problem, O2 sensor. However, I have already changed both the sensors. Any bros out there can share your inputs or faced this problem before? This problem is causing my ride to have high consumption of petrol and also to be very lag. (Loss of power)

confirm changed to the correct o2 sensors? you can try to reset your ecu ( pull out the ecu fuse for 2 mins, then plug back in) and see if it still happens.
If yes, then either you changed to a wrong o2 sensor, or the o2 sensor wiring harness is damaged somewhere along the line, causing resistance issues.

if it's a long term issue, it could be that the ex owner changed to a wrong o2 sensor, sold the car to you. And your workshop installed the same o2 sensor replacement based on the old one they pulled out.
Your correct o2 sensor should be 3921022610 and 3921026620.

I have checked and changed the correct O2 sensors. Maybe it's the harness that is faulty like what you have mentioned. The ECU has been reset and clear of all problems however few days later the engine check light will reapppear again.

If it is not the sensor which is a very common reason the check light engine comes on. Maybe it is a loose gas cap or catalytic converter issue? It seems to me you did all you could with your car sensors and it is probably a different issue.

P0141 is the 2nd O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Resistant high. Meaning it is open circuit. Changing the O2 Sensor is the correct first step. Since it doesn't solve the problem, you will have to check the 2 heater wires between the sensor and the ECU. If that wasn't the problem...... ECU!!!!!

Get a specialist to do a check before spending additional cost to solve that problem. Perhaps you should try harmony .
