Just do it !!! And share photo on a new thread. Some say it improve FC, some say it improve pickup. It cost about $50 to $100 to do this cleaning. The one controlling the air flow during throttle plate fully closed, I think it is called Idling-Air-Control-Valve. No, I shall not dismantle the Throttle Body, I am just thinking to remove this Throttle Body Assembly from Carens so that I can give it a good clean up by kerosine, acetone, or Carburetor Cleaner fluid. Hi, I have not tried to remove and clean it before. I guess just remove the 4 mounting screws and the vacuum hose and the accel. line, disconnect the TPS connector. That all. Try not to dismantle any part of the throttle body. Those screws on the throttle body regulate the air flow when the throttle is fully closed. You will have the hard time getting back to the right position.

You are been humble. Can always try a thing or two.......heeeee. Good exercise ......... physical ....... wow--- super! i could not even take off the wheel... you are the real diyer. Just changed my V-belt - the part number is confirmed 25212-25000. Took me half an hour to take out and 1 hour to put on the need belt. Need to take out right wheel, right headlight (optional), and a side mud guard. You will need a 17mm spanner - to pull the tensioner, 10mm spanner for most of the screw and nut. And a 19mm spanner to turn the fly wheel.

It depends if I can DIY lor. Because the 4 mounting bolts are big deal leh. It requires 9.8 kgf.m, which is about 98mN torque to lock. Must have the right tool.... Just do it !!! Dfficult to do, the 4 M10 or M8 bolts are difficult to be removed without proper tool. Using normal wrench is no way to catch the bolts firm to unlock. Need the right tool.....
