Seen this article in AsiaOne. motoring.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story/A1Story20120907-370257.htmlSINGAPORE - Car repair shop-owners say they may be forced to raise prices of repairs after the implementation of the lemon law on Sept 1. Under the lemon law, if a product is found to be defective within six months of purchase, the seller is obliged to repair, replace, or refund the price. Wear and tear is not covered under the law.

my fuel tank leaked the third time..went back C&C, they say change new tank again... no charges except the labour for wheel alignment...$85.60. But i thought they already changed it the first time it leaked...i suspect they didnt do it the first time. They request i go back in oct for the KIA car clinic to let the koreans engineer to take a look.

This is really LEMON law.
I can always go to a workshop and install speakers. Right before half a year I put a strong magnet to spoil it and get a change also can. I think only SG will think of such a kuku policy. Wonder what is the FINE if workshops dun follow LEMON law huh?

Actually, I am not surprise with their bad service lor ........... always ask you to change this and that. Brake pad still have more than half said it is worn out. Ask them what can they do to improve FC, they ask me to change spark plug $24/pc, when my spark plug only done 10kkm. They dont know anything about KIA and it seems it is not their forte to achieve service excellent. To me, it is really a mishap that they disti KIA cars ....... They are probably better off with their traditional product & service. Personally I think the Lemon Law is good even if the prices are good. It protects the buyer. Since KIA is a foreign make car it is best go to a dealer. They have more information and have more incentive to fix the better so you return to them and get another KIA. Go to a dealer it is worth it.

For me, never got a good deal with C&C After spending $300++ for every oil change. I DIY. Cheap. My own car, so I pay 100% attention. Bought these for a Low Low price over internet site in Korea. For example ABS sensor internet USD 30, for C&C S$200 (parts) before diagnostic (S$70) before labour (S$50). It is so cheap I am only doing preventive maintenance.
