HI All,
Im driving 05/06 kia rio HB 1.6L. Anyone come across when braking time or going to stop, the rear got knock knock sound???

your rear is disc or drum brakes? From what i Googled one possibility is the coz of brakes

Hi LMF, thank i using drum for my rear. I got serviced once n skim my drum last less than a half year come back again?

it could be ur rear brakes.. maybe its dirty.. get workshop to air spray clean

u skim rear for wat purposes? if its already gone...change a new one drum brake... it looks like a curve shape...

My workshop tell me that the drum brake pads still very new but the drum disk need to skim cause uneven surface after skim no more knock knock sound but only last for less than a year. I think i should change the whole set of brake drum already so sian

huh ? i tot all rio got the knocking sounds all around ? My is come from the spring i believe. Urs from the brake ?

Should be the absorber or mounting problem...spring portion can last and last...

Tink its best to go & check thoroughly..... It maybe yr disk but still u cant be too sure.... For mine, it was the front... Tot it was the brakes but upon checking, its the axle.....
