Hmmm actually true and not true. when you drive efficiently, you don't brake and accelerate hard nor drive at such a fast speed that it is dangerous.. then its not so stress also and better for FC...

Last tank Fc was a disappointed 8.6 Km/L so on average, for the last 2 tank, its 9.2 km/L on SPC 95
UltraGauge shows 10.2km/L but the car had no fuel sensor.
Now current tank with R.I.S.K installed, do not how it will turn out. but R.I.S.K is shiok.

For me not much difference in FC after RISK + QFR. I suppose when the drive feels better, i tend to let loose my right foot a little more...
Agree with Mindbox that should not endlessly chase for better FC. V tiring and may end up spending more $ experimenting on additives, etc etc.
For me I just look out for drastic changes in FC cos it might indicate other problems. Anything between 12 - 14km/L for me is normal. 2009 AT.

From the result of the survey, i am not the only one ! LOL. Adapting and learn to appreciate how this car works with R.I.S.K althought will continue to try different petrol and note how its FC are. but now, human ECU will take some time to adjust to the new way the car present itself with R.I.S.K I really think.. mebbe an issue with your engine.. cause, its really much lower than most other cars..

Servicing is important. Not to mention if car is full load or empty. Mine is between 13.7-15 km/l....

These are the results to the survey
There are 14 valid responses out of 18 responded
YR 2005 1 x Rio 1.4 Auto on SPC 92 gets 9-10 Km/L 1 x Rio 1.5 Manual on SPC 95 gets 11-12 Km/L
Yr 2006 1 x Rio 1.4 Auto on SPC98 gets 12-13 km/l 1 x Rio 1.6 Manual on SPC95 gets 11-12 Km/L 2 x Rio 1.4 Manual on Mobile95 gets between 11-13 km/L 1 x Rio 1.4 Manual on Caltex 95 gets 13-14 Km/L 1 x Rio 1.4 Manual on Caltex 95 gets 9-10KM/L 1 x Rio 1.4 Manual on Shell95 gets 8-9Km/L 1 x Rio 1.4 Manual on SPC92 gets 8-9Km/L (Mine)
Yr 2009 1 x Rio 1.6 Manual on SPC98 gets >14 Km/L 2 x Rio 1.4 Auto on Mobile95 gets between 10-14km/L
Yr 2010 1 x Rio 1.4 Manual on Shell95 gets >14Km/L
Conclusion: Rio after year 2009 had no issue with FC. Own experience is that SPC92/95 does not have much impact on FC but SPC95 does feels fuller. FC highly dependant on the route you are driving and the speed that this route entitles you to drive at. - Morning jam, FC on ultragauge shows 9.8 Km/L - Eveing on Expressway, FC on ultragauge improves to 10.8 km/L
Whats next, Tell us here, if you are owner of Rio 2006, let us know your FC again and how much expressway vs city route you drove usually.
For me, I will try out another 3 tanks of SPC98 then move to 3 tanks of Caltex 95 then 98 then move to 3 tanks of mobile 95 then 98 then move to 3 tanks of shell 95 then 98
boliao right...but its the fun of experimenting.

The FC improves to around 10.5km/L compare to 9.5km/L This is on a 5 days expressway(70-90KM) and 2 days city(50-70km) road . SPC95+fuel addictives
