Guys, Thanks to continue contributing this survey. I saw very encouraging responses...so far 5 responded and we have a fellow Rio driver 1.4 A having 12-13km/L on.....some brand petrol!

so far 13 responses
most are using 95 grade to achieve 10-11km/L even for manual one case of using mobile 98 to hit above 12km/L on 2006 1.4A one case of caltex 98 to hit above 13KM/L on 2006 1.4M one case of Mobile 95 having 8-9km/L on 2006 1.6M one case of shell 95 having 8-9km/L on 2006 1.4M yr 2009-2011 Rio looks to have much improve FC at above 13-14
So far looks like 95RON might be a better bet for Kia Rio before YR2008 1.4A/M
Keep the respones coming in please.

The newer Rios have a much higher FC cause they revamped the engine...

Pump gas this morning.
The fc was 8.4KM/L , with bioil ecomax it seems to get worst !
Pump SPC95 for this tank, added ecomax again.

Add fuel addictive, monitor a few tanks then pour again...
Fuel addictive is not to 'help' you save fuel....may be effective and may not be.... most impt is to 'clean' the engine....
Not only petrol may have effect, other factors like load of the ride, driving habits and many more affect this...
Manual and auto transmission also varies....

Hi bro, I understand that fuel addictive not working could also mean that my engine is in good condition, nothing to clean hence see no effect ! Add fuel addictive, monitor a few tanks then pour again... Fuel addictive is not to 'help' you save fuel....may be effective and may not be.... most impt is to 'clean' the engine.... with SPC95 + Ecobioli Ecomax + ECU reset 1st bar - did around 115km compared to 95km max using Ron92+Ecomax. Don't if its due to the few expressway from hougang to Downtown East and Geylang to Downton east back to hougang i did over the last 2 days.
- hope it continue this way
Car on SPC95 feel so much better. Added in a replicate VS. Audio does sounds better and less jerk when switching gears. Also just grounded 3 cables that comes with the VS.
In general, Car on SPC95 gives me a better ride feeling....placebo? end of the week, we shall see.

achieve 9.95km/l for this tank which is about 15% diluted with ron92. lets see if i can hit over 10km/l for this new tank. with SPC95 + Ecobioli Ecomax + ECU reset 1st bar - did around 115km compared to 95km max using Ron92+Ecomax. Don't if its due to the few expressway from hougang to Downtown East and Geylang to Downton east back to hougang i did over the last 2 days. - hope it continue this way Car on SPC95 feel so much better. 95, 98 all same FC for me. 10 - 11+ km/L Just the driving experience different
92 I feel really frustrated so stopped Some more I read about and Joey confirmed older engine will require higher RON unless we de-carbon
I only hit 12 twice.... Which I think may be due to tank not fully pumped. Lol
