Took my wife on a trip to Club Med Cherating. We went by the coastal road .. took it slow and relax.. took us 6 hours to reach Cherating.. our ride is well suited for long distance drive.. didnt really measure the FC but i reckon it must have been quite fuel efficient as i only top up 2x ( once in kuantan 32litre , once in kota tingi 28Litres back to SG. overall quite a enjoyable and tiring driving trip.

CM is quite ok if you are the nuan type.. more suited for the ang mos.. they simply love to laze around by the beach/or the pool. Food is well taken care off. with 3 meals of buffet and free flow of wine/cock tail. Plenty of activities as well eg jungle walk, archery.. basically its a self sufficient village concept. Also be prepared to have the GO ( guest officers) join u for meals and some cultural sharing. Quite a new experience to me as well.. however i prefer self drive trips like the ones i had done for Perth or Melbourne. Dont really like to be coup up in a single place. I got my 3d/2n trip for $570 ( thru a someone selling online).. o/w they were quoting $1200 online . I defintely wouldnt part $1.2K for this trip
