DC A good coolant system should not need to top up water. However, it is unavoidable due to evaporation, especially the coolant had been heated up which makes evaporation easier. But there must be a gauge before we sound the alarm. If you are topping up 1 litre of water (in total) in month, it is still acceptable. Anything more then that, you should get it check. The topping up should be at the Spare Tank for the system to be healthy. If you need to top up at the Radiator, then please check on air leak. However, it is the Radiator Tank coolant level that is critical, not the Spare Tank.

Ya, distilled or tap water is ok.
It all depends on what you already have in your radiator. If you are using (purely) pre-mix, then we prefer not to 'contaminate' it.

this is my guess, when u stop ur car, the water in the engine is not come back. so when u park over the night, the water slowly come back that why u have over the F mark.

Sometimes, the water content is high, it evaporates faster. Using Pre-mix can minimise this but as I say: it is not a problem.
