Sry, but quite expensive for a VS or even a very powerful VS...
At the end of the day, VS or watever power charger only upgrade your battery power, changing to a stronger or higher amp battery would be more wise.

There are currently about 3 types of Spoilers meant for the Koup.
Sequence - Most common, can get at a few places. - Ard S$280
New 2011 Koup Spoiler with 3rd brake lights - Need to check with Mobis on the price
Latest HOS spoiler - Need to call and check with HOS.
There are other universal spoilers but some can fit, some might not... note the rules from LTA on spoilers. - check onemotoring website or LTA website for more info on the rules of spoilers on car.

Hi all, I am new here. Wanna find out if any Bros here Run-In their Engine using DYNO when they just got their Koup?? Quite un-usual to use Dyno to run in, cos local (sg) Dyno is quite costly and to do so for Run-In, you need to know wat u are doing... or at least the wksp must know. Best way to run in the engine but not really worth the cost for our 1.6L Gamma engine... even if I drive the 2.0L Theda, I dont think I wont spent like close to S$100 to do a Dyno Run In... and if u do so, might as well change out the mineral oil after the Run In and clear the engine oil. Good thou to know this way of run-in which u can compare with the original specs and prior to any mods, as a stock bench mark. Cool.

As per your other post, can pm me and I try my best to direct u to find the emblem.
As for the FC on 18" rims, shouldnt be too bad unless they are heavier than our stock 17" which is very unlikely.
Removing the spare tyres is a good way to get better FC but got to know some tow truck numbers in case of emergency... or some fellow forum member to get help when in trouble.
This is why the forum is for.
Else, join AA can get free tow.
Btw, our 17" dont really puncture easily unless side wall of the tyre kena... if just leak, sidewall strong enough to bring u to the nearest petrol station to pump up the pressure to reach a tyre shop for patching the leak. Changing spare tyres is sometime dangerous if along major roads or expressway. And the tools given to loosen the wheel nuts are not really friendly...

Just met and check out the engine bay of the 1.6L 6-speed Auto.
No ATF dipstick
ECU & Auto Transmission control unit is separated.
Different Air-Intake Pipe from filter box to throttle body.
E-throttle & TPS for 1.6L !!! no throttle cable.
Folding mirror is built-in not locally fitted.
Centre console to armrest box is different.
So far notice the above differences...

Go check the tyre pressure...
Most tyre shop will pump quite high for new tyres to run them in thus result in such funny sound.. should go away after a while.. or simply check the pressure 1st... release it to 220-230 and see if the sound go away...
If still exist after pressure is down or over a period of 2 weeks.. you might need to ask the tyre shop again.

Taking out the battery doesnt mean can reset the ECU....
The true way to reset is using OBD scanner or reader and do the resetting from there.
As for the layman term (relearn) of ECU, from what I heard from a few bros, it is usually ard 2 weeks.

2. Brake Safety Switch Adjustment for Auto - to make it easier to start engine without having the problem of Brake Pedal Hardening. Glenn, about item 2, can let me know what is this switch for? Has this got to do with pressing the engine start button to start engine, the display says " Depress pedal to start engine" For auto, there is 2 safety devices, one is the transmission (must be in Neutral or Parking, in order to start engine), 2nd is the brake pedal must be depress before can use the push start to start the engine. -- Some of the owners have this problem of unable to depress the brake enough to start the engine, usually becos the brake pedal can harden over a few stepping when the engine is switch off.... thus to ensure this dont happen... the safety switch at the brake pedal can be fine-tuned to light tap to be released, thus can start engine without having to depress too much and face the hardening issue. -- Some simply trust one safety device at the transmission and ask me to make the safety device of the brake pedal to be permanently switch off.. thus they can start engine without having to step on the brakes.

I am just providing an alternative solution for those who dont want to get their hand dirty.... the S$5 or S$10 is a small token fee which amount to a few drinks or one meal.... which normally many of those I help during DIY offer me anyway...
Instead of having to owe me the drink or meal, simply I provide an alternative...
Anyway, if Admin highlight any issues to me... I will follow the instructions accordingly.
Thanks for your feedback.

Sry to tag on your topic... but for those dont want to change the original immobiser, there might be a way to make the locking and unlocking with sound... thus making it easier to notice whether u lock or unlock your car....
This is a relay to add on to your existing immobiser and helps to give sound for lock and unlock onli... not a real alarm system...

I also believe more in ECU flash than Piggyback... cos with all the newer ECU and CAN compliant -- meaning more sensors and feedback system to the ECU, the old method of Piggyback is now consider back-dated cos the ECU can relearn and the piggyback's adjustment of the sensor readings will not tally with the other sensors and it would be render useless....
