Dear Buddies... Thanks for your replies and well wishes... I have called them too this morning. But they said they dont have it for SPORTAGE... TO be honest i was abit taken aback when I realised that it got to be done MANUALLY lol.... Well, will continue this manual labour till a motor can be found Well Buddies... Care to share what will be good for our Sportage? i am planning for - Solar film - Angel eye - Maybe Side Step Hope to hear from you... cheers, KS How come your Sportage doesn't come with solar film? I think it should be RikeCool for C&C... For angel eyes, it's not easy to mod because Sportages does not come with projector headlamps. Maybe those LED 'eyelids' aka Audi-style more feasible. Side steps are useful for me as it really help my son get in/out of the car with ease. If you're always on the road, I suggest you upgrade the sound system. The stock speakers are well....crappy (except the Kenwood DVD player). It'll definitely make your drive more enjoyable...

Bro, your first photo... I can say you have a very cool.....background indeed! I'm of changing from 225/70/R16 to 235/50/R18 too..... Oh...the 1st pic was taken at one of the level of a HDB Multi-Storey Carpark... Just need to blow-out the exposure a bit during metering and push some curves in Photoshop to achieve the white background. It was made easier because my car is black...

Can't go for the meet-up next week...I'll be overseas the whole week. There's always a next time... In the meantime, I'll try and get more pics for sharing here...The 'Forte' bros and sis are getting all the limelight now, haha...which is not a bad thing at all.

hi bro...nice color ..izit grayish silver? It's actually black...must be the reflections that made it looked 'silverish'. I'll post more pics when I find the time to take them this weekend.

Ok, finally solved the GPS map problem. Was doing up my sound system and found it hidden behind the HU...inserted the SD card with the sg map and it is working now. If you have access to map updates, etc.... I would ask the sound system ppl to relocate the unit to an accessible location. Bernard That's not a bad idea...provided they can find another empty space somewhere. If not, I'll have to remove the whole HU again just to update the maps.

Hi razor54, Just curious. If you used the dashboard GPS, can it be concurrently use to play movie or music while you're driving long distance? Should be able to. I'm still able to connect to the satellites while listening to music in the background, so I believe watching videos shouldn't be a problem...that is if you've disconnected the safety 'drive-cannot-play-video' requirement that came with the stock unit.

A few places I can think so, under front seats (passenger & driver), glove compartment, spare tyre well. Alternatively, I suggest giving C&C service center a call, they usually install in a fixed location which will be known to the service center staff. Bernard I've tried under both front seats and the glove compartment but still couldn't locate the main GPS unit. Maybe I'll give the spare tyre well a try... Contacted the agent at C&C and he replied it might be installed away from view. Have to get in touch with service centre at Pandan, where it's installed, to find out the exact location. I guess I'll have to check with the technician during my next service trip there...

Hi,
Just collected my Sportage last week, with the Kenwood touchscreen GPS unit, but I couldn't find the main GPS unit for me to insert the supplied Singapore map (SD Card)... Saw the GPS antenna on the passenger side dashboard but just couldn't locate the main GPS unit.
Anyone can advise? Thanks...
