thanks bro! any idea where to get it thou? i went to homefix and some neighbourhood shops n i've not seen this one..haha.. try hardware shops. Usually the 3M type are pretty good. Do not get the white foam type, those black type seems better though. But to enhance the durability of the tape, wipe the surfaces with alcohol and wipe it dry and stick it on immediately. (Alcohol does not mean beer, vodka, wine or martell etc etc )

This question may sound stupid but bear with me for awhile I am not looking for performance gain or something , I just want my pica to have vroom vroom sound when accelerating Any LTA friendly ways to do it? sorry to say there is non for pica and i don't think there ever will be as the cost of getting it certified versus the number of requests to own one does not justify the entire test the exhaust has to go through with LTA to get it certified. There is no market for pica mods in SG

sorry, i forgot to add on................ please do not go for any top mount intercoolers as it would be useless in picanto unless you haave a vent air scoop on your bonnet. Always as best, go for the front mount intercoolers, the aair is always cooler towards the ground.......that is why cold air intake systems are located below at the bumper area more efficient too!

Yeah audio gear going will miss it because taking backseats out and roll cage being made to go in because lighter the better Can you explain to a newbie what a td04 is ? And actuator ?? Will a evo 5 intercooler be any good ? For the car friends got one sitting in his garage off of his old evo and looks good but needs piping ? yes, audio gear has to go to compensate for your roll cage, but will you be doing a 1/4 mile drag sprint for timing? if so, i suggest you do not need a roll cage if you are only going straight, make it light, simple and most importantly less cluttered. A TD04 turbo can be basically found on a 2005 model subaru wrx etc etc... there are many variants like TD05 - 16G,20G and TD05/06 hybrid, that would be too big for our engines in pica, probably u will need at least 5000rpm to get it spooling.....by the time you are left with 1500rpm to go and its not much fun..... Go for a smaller turbo in those stock cars like 1800cc to max 2000cc and in customize it for your use. Actuators works in a way to release excess pressure into the atmosphere, more like a pressure relief valve to prevent your engine from busting due to too much unwanted pressure build-up, it can be set via the actuator springs etc. google it and do a more in-depth read, this is a general guide. Intercoolers must always compliment the turbo size, as you know, turbo will be like a forced induction which will re-combust the exhaust air again, therefore before that happens, an intercooler will cool off the once combusted air before it gets re-combusted the 2nd time, that is why i mentioned that engine cooling systems are very critical in this aspect. If needed, try to customize your radiator to a larger type, if not possible, swap the fans with a more efficient type with higher CFM air flow. An Evo 5 intercooler would be good for a TD04, and of course, you will need to customize the pipings to suit your engine bay Just make sure when you do the design of the piping, it cannot be routed too long from the exhaust manifold into the intercooler and towards the throttle body. This is for the fastest spool that can be generated for your turbo unit to minimise the so called famous "turbo lag" The plus point of doing turbo setup for pica is that, aalot of stock turbos are given away sometimes FREE or at a very very low cosst as people upgrade to a bigger type and no one will revert back to the originals aagain unless they are dekitting the car. Wastegates are not needed for pica's size of aplpication, a side plant would be good whenever possible, just that the side plant mounted cannot be too far back at the exhaust systems as it would prove not so efficient. I wish you all the best with the boosting project and i would be glad to assist you if you neeed informations Here in SG, it is SUCH A CHORE to dabble with turbos...... It's a "FINE" country mate!

Bro Little Red Riding Hood is e best person in our forum to share on turbo mods cos he had been there & done that to his other ride! Very detailed sharing. But I love his signature best! Lolx scrolling down slowly! Keke aiyah bro, u over rate me lah, i just share what i know......havent done that on the pica yet, these few days keep bumping into TP zzzzz nbz dunno why.... now thinking about R.I.S.K for the meantime!! seems quite efficient.... but the spool rate for TD04 is slow but when the boost comes, pica will be like snake without proper tyres and full complete coilovers. Must check the temperature coz our little 1.1ltr engine tends to heaat up very quickly and with the added boost, the water temp cannot reach 120 deg celcius as it will cause "hot spots" withing the engine and ultimately cause pre-mature damage which might be quite costly. Someone here seling the IHI turbo which will be good for short boost from traffic light to traffic light.....but sometimes when you go boosted, you just can never get enough.... cheers!

Try to use a route with mostly highway speeds of 70-90km/hr.. You will see a big difference in FC.. I can hit 160km with 1st quarter of petrol compared to 130km using start-stop traffic. Lornie-adam rd style. 30km saved is more than 2Ltr of petrol! But understand morning peak hrs is quite hard to find such a route.. i also want do leh, but bo reply one the items and total cost
