I drove my mag thru the new JB customs. The complex is located about 1km from the old one. Between the old and the new, they are connected by just 2 lanes shared with motorcycles and buses. THere is no pedestrian walkway. Once you reached there, you have to buy the TouchNGo card from the officers standing there, it cost RM20 with RM10 stored value, as they dont accept cash payment anymore. The new complex is modern, hi tech and comfy. But the lanes are pretty tight so our mag is just a nice fit. Very smooth flow and I cleared the customs in a mere 10 mins upon exiting S'pore. Coming back also very smooth. To top up fuel before re-entering S'pore, if you go to the CAltex at the old checkpoint, then you have to make a big turn about 3km to get to the new checkpoint.

Bro you go to other people's country your mind will be more at ease if you can accept it as their way of doing things and dont waste your time complaining. Dont like, dont go. We go into their country, take their cheap fuel, enjoy their cheap holidays, and then we come back and grumble. What sort of a character does that speak of us? I find it amusing when 'smart' singaporeans are always measuring others based on the standards that they have arbitrarily set for themselves against others while failing to appreciate other's endeavours, and consistently looking for their slightest form of 'inefficiency'. Its akin to their false sense of superiority that as Singaporeans they can never do wrong while looking down on 'the others' who dont conform to their way of doing things. To these people i say you dont have to look far, there are many white elephant 'flying' in our own backyard. Cheers!

blur too....no offense... but we are jus grumbling....as they have also grumbling abt us too..
come to think of it, actually your statement comes back to u... u might be also using your own standard to judge us as well when we grumble... they also go into our country, earn our high salary, enjoy our facilities, and then when they go back, they also grumble abt us as well...
but all have to agree that we really 'blur' abt their way of building the hump.... y not a smooth hump...even its high but at least the impact will not be so great....

interesting thoughts. i think its more of human nurture rather than human nature. i think its how we choose to be rather than how we are designed to be. just like we always have this consistent urge to upgrade and improve our rides because we know it can look better, run faster, better FC n blah blah blah, i think it is in us to be able to move away into something better even if we know we are not prophets. Cheers!

wahts 'poison' time, bro mindbox33?? . have u guys been to austin hills 10mins drive frm checkpoint... trust me bros, the place is damn good for a short break with family & i find its great for weekend golf. they have bowling, snooker, driving range, swimming pool with tube slide. once u check in to the hotel u'll be shocked the standard room is so huge with 2 king beds u can even play badminton inside. its at least 3 times normal hotel room. 10 people also can sleep inside no problem. i'm not kidding! then their special room got jacuzzi room inside where u can take a dip with your partner, also very big and plush man! and the scenery especialy if your room faces the fairways...u'll wake up thinking u r in some angmoh country. Oops i sound like salesman hehe
