i do realise that it's not very difficult to get lost in Singapore.. but then again, if you are going to 'common places' it's not that hard to get lost either....
I just passsed my tp in oct... been driving since then... when i just started, i just tell my pasengers that my parking sux and they die also muz bear with it... dun care if there's a line behind you. it's your lot, your parking sux, you take your time, they can wait and if they can't tat's really not your fault. i also learnt from a fren to park in 45 degrees instead of the 90degrees we learn during prac. It's easier to see from your side mirrors.
For the roads, just rem not to speed... doesn't matter if the other cars are speeding os passing by you... just remember to keep your head and your head comes first... Watch out for pica right side blindspot...
Geylang is really a good place to practise 'jammed traffic' conditions. But seriously, if you are not confident, please do not appear there... a lot of ppl there dun give way... and it's not everyday that you will meet someone who does.
If you intend to get a gps, please do a simultaion for a loaction tat you are totally not sure of before you let it run fully on GPS. sometimes, the pinpoint location is not the most accurate and may give you slight delay or mis-information.
XOXO
