Hi, Ben Yes, I have changed to Magentis two months ago. Added Pivot VS, changed air-con filter and added Hurricane air filter. Car is overall good except very thirsty siah. Will change to a lower viscosity oil like w20 during next servicing. Handling wise, a bit bland but still acceptable lah. Quite heavy steering for a Korean car which is unusual. Of course can't compared to Mondeo as that is a more expensive car. But for the price I've paid I'm very happy liao. Hope more Mag owners here will share their experience.....

Brother, if not wrong that your car is still running on mineral oil so it will be a bit thirsty but once you switch over to Synthetic Engine oil then it will be ok. Try to use W40 instead of W20 so that you have better protection of your engine. Frankly, I would prefer heavy steering compared to light steering as it is easier and more confident to handle the car. Not so sure your Mondeo is using electrical or hydraulic steering but Magentis is using hydraulic. I got some members who change to Japanese cars like Swift or Honda, they prefer the hydraulic steering in Kia than their electric steering in their new rides. As for the powering down of windows with remote, that have to depend on your remote system. I believe you are able to do that with your original Mondeo remote which is built-in by default. What I did for my car is that whenever I arm my car, if any of my 4 windows are properly closed up, it will auto closed up for me so that when it is raining when I park in the open space, I will not have rain water entering my car.
