hi bros I'm driving 1.4A, here the list and feeling that i got after changes.
1. Hurricane air filter = slightly lost low end but when rev high till 6k rpm, no restriction.
2. Change to H&R spring. Car very stable, at 100km/h no feel floating compare to original spring. Even braking also better, no overshoot feeling. Disadvantage is, will lost comfort. Has bumpy ride on hump and uneven road.
3. SJ-CAI = Car slightly lighter, but obviously have bassy sound.
4. ECU tuning by Harmony = Feel faster response and when traveling around 80 km/h, sudden want speed up for overtaking, car can move faster.
4. Change to 16" rim = Initial move feel heavy. but very stable and less bumpy ride compare to 15".
5. Change brake pad to Mintex = Due to change the rim, stock brake pad feel not so effective anymore. almost ram into pickup during emergency stop. After change brake pad to Mintex, braking power very good.
6. ATF cooler = This ATF cooler make gear change smooth and faster. U don't feel spongy effect during gear change. When rpm hit 5 -6 k rpm, gear change feel fast and effortless.
7. Operate muffler & add pro rallye spark plug cable = This mod gave me new power. Pick up very good. Even at 2k rpm, when accelerator press slowly, speed increase much faster than original. Good thing, sound almost cannot noticeable from original. Haven't test top speed yet, wait till school holiday, might go Malaysia.
FC - best FC was during running in about 12+. Now i get between 9+ - 11+ depend on usage. if use alot on expressway than FC much better. Stop and go condition, FC will suffer especially you want to be the one in front of others.
Hope this information will help new member who want some extra mod.

Hi bro mindbox and ronnyboy wat is a flexiable hose? wats tat for? And does intalling a unichip help to solve the check light problem? it looks like a wired mesh cylinder, flexible wic connect to your stock extractor n cat... from my knowledge, if u are changing your rio extractor to aftermarket 421..most likely u may need to change your long flexible hose (orig is long one) to a short one (workshop will have short one... esp when u change to a aftermarket cat... unichip does not prevent check light from coming out... some bros have check light coming out...some dun have... after installing extractor... n also there is MANY reasons why check light will come out... thou your workshop may able to clear the light, but it does not guarantee that it will not come bk again... last, if u worried abt this, then dun change your extractor, cat or any internal engine mod. stay stock... then no need to worried le...
