i guess pica not really worth doing , cos a average cng tank weight 60kg for 60Litre cng tank, n also will took up most of the booth space. one my friend Rush after install cng, booth can only store a pair of track shoe n a bottle of mineral water.

No point having a CNG in pica cos it's too heavy and take up lots of space... its more suitable for cars above 1.6L, MPVs and SUVs...

I think this was discussed before. There is no space in the boot for the standard size tank. And the 40% rebate on the OMV is not enough to cover the $4k for the installation and system.

my fellow friend in getzgarage installed it in his getz.. his boot was consumed entirely by the tank, spent $3900 and didn't get any rebate off his OMV.. he inquired and said that LTA only grants the rebate to brand new green cars.. not retro fitted..
anyways i even have doubts the tank can fit in our boot.. even if you install the smaller 40L tank, you'll need to top it up ever so often.. it'll be even less practical.. =) sorry to burst your bubble.. but the truth is singapore isn't a very green friendly country unless you buy a brand new green car.. like maybe a prius, civic hybrid or RX400h or maybe merc NGT.. otherwise, think our picanto is considered green in the sense we're getting such good mileage... =)

bro, CNG is safer than petrol... worry about your petrol tank before thinking about CNG tank...petrol is much more combustable than CNG.. =)

yeah... the rear seat helps to dampen the hard hitting bass.. and it resonates nicely in the boot.. =) not so much of an ICE person but i just enjoy a bit of bass to entertain my girlfriend during long drives to school and home.. hehe..

I guess this need a person with some good knowledge of the mechanics of the car to do the experimenting. glad to hear that fws1981 is going to embark on this project. maybe tried to gather more people into the projects? or even start a new thread for this water fuel thing??
