Hi guys
i would like to seek 2nd opinon from you guys..
my current ride is gonna reach it life soon.... a quick check with car dealers. Most of the take the car for scrap and pay me the paper value (i assume it should be the PARF value). There is nothing to get back from the remainder of the COE.
A check with LTA on the PARF if the car is send for scrap it will be a X amount. if it is exported it will be a Y amt. the diff is about 1K. So is this the amount that car dealers talking about?
However i understand scrapping the car i still need to pay to scrap. To export do i still need to pay for it?
question will be
1) is PARF the same as Paper Value? 2) PARF is return to us by LTA right? Can a car dealer claim it on your behalf? 3) Anyone export thier ride before? 4) Scrap value how much? Anyone scrap thier ride before?
Thank you

there are few export zone company doing this in singapore. u can tie up wt them if u're interested.
u can put ur car at their place and they will assist u on the exporting process. ur car will be in their website or bidding to overseas buyer.
will try to search the export website of u interested.
if u trade ur car for 2nd car at the 2nd dealer, they also can eat ur car but @ 500-800 max
