Hi all,
I do experiencing some braking issues. Sometimes, the brake doesn't work or temporarily doesn't eat. Meaning when stopping, usually by pressing a bit, we can feel the braking force. For me, sometimes, after I press fully, I can only feel a little braking force.
I really have to check it out. Does anyone experience the same problem? 1) can it be fixed? 2) do I have to change the braking system?
Advice pls....

Check your brake pad. Best is to goto workshop to check your brake system. Piston, brake fluid and brake hose all go check to ensure everything up and running.

I encounter same issue too. Replace brake pump kit, brake pad and brake fluid and problem still surface. Damn spongy. Mechanic check no problem with caliper and hose all those. Now i suspect with brake rotor. Still rectifing now cause my car run 100k+ km haave not replace rotor yet. I feel my rotor slightly eat liao.

It depends on the nature of your job. If it's changing brake pads, probably around $150. Prices differ from place to place and brand of pads.
But I doubt that your problem lies with the brake pads. It would be good if you could let a mechanic to test drive and pin point the problem. Sometimes, it may be just a case of changing and bleeding brake fluid.

I read that the rubber tends to deteriorate over time and results in the spongy feel.
