me using redline 5W40 ... have tried basso 5W40 for 2 EO changes but the FC did not improve, so does not justify the more ex price for it ...

I've used OWS, Blitz Racing oil and Shell Helix. I would prefer Blitz and shell..

Recently went up north and got the itch... changed to Perodua 10w-30 (should be Petronas mineral) coz dirt cheap... very responsive now... but a little noisier.... think will go back Pennzoil or try Redline too once I it 5000km.

I'm current running on Castrol titanium 5w30, not much difference compared to mobil1 EP gold and both average FC. tried Red line 5w30, very responsive engine but cannot last me after 1 genting trip etc up till 3k mileages. lastly, I would recommend idemitsu, very noticeable FC improve, power with a reasonable price. $60/4L

Previously was using Amsoil but after the price shoot up, I change to Mobil 5w30 which I brought at Giant during the offer. Later I was introduce to Schaeffer Supreme 7000 5w30 and had used for 2 oil change already. The price and performance is better than Mobil 5w30. Mobil Gold tried once and is a good oil too.

Mobil gold is good n smooth but temperature remain hi . Try 300v , nice n maintain good temperature control but it don't last long. Overall think castrol edge give quite good balance.

More important than the type of engine oil you use is how often you change it. Change it often to make sure your car Picanto is running well. Don't be penny smart and pound stupid. Good luck!

If a premium eo last 1 yr and cost 150, cheaper eo can afford to change 2-3x a yr.

Just ditch bizoil after 7k. Now use c__lube, fc not bad. Dunno if its due to change tyre or new oil. Oil + filter $31, jb oil change at autobac....total cost less than $50 compare to snake oil at $150 in sg....
