wanna clear carbon? very easy! Buy 10 bottles of STP fuel injector cleaner pour into your tank (make sure left 1/4) tank only. Drive around until reserve light comes on. Remove header, exos and cat. Buy 20 litres diesel, pour on the removed items, burn it, once done, use water flush and wipe dry! Cfm no more residue stuck to your exos systems. Put back everything, hear the new sound of your exos....... music......... aiseh... 20yrs old method. still got ppl use meh? later NEA summon how. And last time I used petrol, they burn faster / stronger. wahahaha

Hi guys, can I check if driving at low rpms causes carbon build up? I mainly used from 1.5 to 3rpm on a daily basis. Will that cause carbon to build up?
If so, how to get rid of carbon on daily driving? Rev up to 6rpm a few times per day?

I have never heard of that. What I would suggest to clean the engine is clean the throttle body manually, second add a high quality injector fluid, and finally, run a can of top engine cleaner through it.This is the most effective procedure that i know.

I've been using Mitsubishi's additives, the engine protector, fuel injector cleaner and engine flush. Sometimes, I really wonder what would be the case if I didn't use it? Would there be any adverse effects? Poorer response etc?
So far, I found that the most effective method to 'clear carbon' is to travel along NSHW. My ride really feels different after returning from Malacca, and Genting. More responsive. But few weeks later, back to what it was. But I'm not sure if that's the carbon issue or ECU adaptive memory issue.
